just wanted to shoot a small update: i finished up Dark Souls 2. In total I spent 84 hours on my first playthrough. To be fair, I did almost all of what Drangleic has to offer, even netting 74% of the trophies.
so, in honor of memorial day, amazon is giving away 1000 coins if you download 5 apps. A few of the apps are IHeartRadio, the Food Network's "In The Kitchen" app, and a few others that SUCK.
it's almost 3 a.m. PST. I've been having a hell of a time trying to keep a regular sleep schedule lately; mostly since I've been injured and healing I've been up all night and sleep well into the afternoon. I'm going to go with it a couple more nights and then try to stay up the necessary hours to get myself back to rights.
this past Friday I watched a video over at the Game Informer site that documents the sorry attempt of Dan Ryckert to get into a game of League of Legends. He'd completed the tutorials and knew what the basic ideas were in the game, and he even lucked out to the extreme with the people he was partnered up with as teammates during matchmaking. Ryckert more or less throws the match due to his disinterest in changing tactics during the game...if you watched the video, you'd see that he just does the same things over and over regardless of how they affect his team.
