Yeah those came out like april 1st I think , said they would be good for a while. Hope it worked for you. I have missed my share of gold keys so I always spread the word when I learn of new ones.
Yeah most of these new features they are touting are just stupid "Hey look what we can do!" gimmicks. 'M all for innovation and coming up with tech that can revolutionize how we play games. The Wii actually did a pretty good job with this. But even it had its limits and started to feel gimmicky, plus it just didn't get that much support. I'm with you, I just want good games and a system that won't crap out after a year.
I love these games but the grinding, oh the grinding. This is the reason I have still not finished FF Tactics and why I have only gotten maybe 6 hours into the first Disgea. I don't really have a problem with grinding but some times a little bit of balence would help. I have similar issues with Dark Cloud 2, it takes a long time to level up and find lots of raw materials to upgrade weapons and such. I like how FF Tactics Grimoire of the Rift gives everyone 30 skill points across the board when you complete a battle. The trick to that game is just to make sure your peeps are using gear that has a skill to learn or the points are a total loss.
Hastings! I miss that damn place. We had a good one there in San Marcos. They always had an impressive collection of anime and foreign movies for rent. I also got a lot of good music in the used section. Best Buy has cut their music section down 50%, can't find shit. There is a mom & pop place a couple of blocks from where I live, but they mostly deal in vinyl records, there cd selection is modest and badly managed. Getting most of my music from Amazon these days. I would not even attempt to list all my albums, you notice I still have not filled in my music taste on my home page here, lol. At last count which was about 4 years ago I had, I think 187 cds. Easily added 25 or 30 since then.
Still don't have a 3DS, but if its anything like Devil Survivor for the DS I will have to get it eventually. Got my sights set on Bioshock Infinite at the moment. But moneys a little tight, just dropped $300 at the vets offices today (3 cats, yearly shots) and still gotta pay my taxes. Congrats on the job, being without work is scary, been there a few times myself.
Its been over cast, breezy high 70's last 2 days here in New Orleans, but we got 100% chance of rain tomorrow. Hope it clears before the weekend. We have the French Quarter Fest this weekend and aside from Fat Tuesday and Christmas Eve its one of our biggest money making events. As far as I'm concerned this extended winter is great, not looking forward to high 80's and 90's at 85% humidity that will consume us by the end of May. Even though I haven't played MSG2 in, well shit since it came out I may or may not skip the cut scenes when I play it again. Its been so long I don't really remember that much about the story, other than the Colonel speaking all that hilarious gibberish at the end.
I really enjoyed 4skins and Those Unknown, needed that this morning, better than coffee.
Looks like my dad wasn't pulling my leg after all. Sly is a cool character, I missed the first game but have played all the sequels minus the most recent one.The closest I could come to choosing a favorite character would be to break it down by genre and console and at the least it would still turn into a top 5 list for each,lol.
I don't know,Spring Breakers looks like a shameless TnA fest to me. But I almost got Bioshock the other day. Got to see how my taxes pan out, but I will get it.
Its a shame the Belmont build didn't work out, thats one I would have wanted to try. I really need to get back on this game. I was using the wanderer class, maybe not the best choice for my first play through. But I liked the idea of someone who was fast on their feet.
