And what are you going to have for dessert? :)
And what are you going to have for dessert? :)
I usually miss out on Free Comic Book Day. I either have to work or it's too hard for me to get to a store. But I don't mind too much since I'm not into comic books anyway. In the past I've gotten Street Fighter and Transformers comics on that day. I recently recorded a podcast about my brother's and my favorite comic book characters, so watch out for that in in the next couple of months hopefully! Can you guess who some of my favorites are?
I have to say, I still do like trophies and achievements, and I wish Nintendo would adopt those, too.
So when you buy certain Nintendo games and do certain things online, you can earn virtual coins. These coins can be traded in to get new avatars for your Switch icon, help pay for games, and even buy things at the Club Nintendo web site. I recently used some coins to buy a Kirby shopping bag, for instance.
For some odd reason I don't remember this game.
Yeah I've played Bomberman multiplayer but it just didn't click for me for some reason.
That's one bad thing about the Switch is there are no achievements or trophies, but that might be a good thing in some cases, too.
You know, you'd think I would like Bomberman games since they're all about running around in mazes chasing after things, and I like those kinds of games. But I've never been able to get into Bomberman much for some reason.
I did buy Super Bomberman back in the day, but mainly because I wanted the included SNES Multitap so I could play three player Secret of Mana.
I would like to play some of the side games, like the kart racers, mini-game collections, and puzzle gamess featuring Bomberman, but I never got around to it. Can't play 'em all!
I do think it's interesting that Nintendo shoehorned Wario into a Bomberman game once. Also, Hudson MIGHT have copied the idea of Bomberman from a Namco game called Warp & Warp.
I hate it that Konami kind of squelched Hudson Soft. Good thing most of the employees left to work at Nintendo!
Trog is awesome. I never played the NES version, which is what is advertised here, but I did play the arcade version a lot. I liked the arcade version because of course it played like Pac-Man, but I also liked the clay animated graphics it had as well. I read somewhere that once Trog was going to be a totally different game and play more like Lemmings, but they thought that would be too complicated for an arcade game and changed it to play more like Pac-Man instead. There was an arcade locally called Nickel Mania that let you play arcade games for super cheap, and for some reason, Trog was always set to Free Play, so that's how I played it a lot! :)
Yeah I was surprised, too! When I first heard about how this game makes you buy some characters, I thought to myself, 'yeah they'll make me want to buy characters by having Terra be one of them.' But to my surprise, you unlock her right in the game in Story Mode! Fairly early, too. So I was very happy about that. Like I told KnightDriver, you can play a free trial version of the game called Chocobo GP Lite if you want to check it out.
If you try Chocobo Lite, you'll have to tell me what you think.
