Yeah I was in band in high school so I know what you mean about those games not REALLY feeling like you were in a real band. But they could still be fun.

I only remember seeing the SkyKid arcade game once, but it was at the front entrance to our local WalMart, so I played it quite a bit. Other games that were at the front at that WalMart include Ikari Warriors 2: Victory Road, Toobin, and my favorite: Super Pac-Man.
Video game hills huh? Well I could say Mario is better than Sonic, but that would mean I'd have to die on Green Hill or Mushroom Hill, and I wouldn't want that. Sorry, that was a dumb joke.
I don't know, I can't really think of any good video game hills I would die on. Mainly because I try to keep an open mind about that stuff. For instance, I'm probably the only person in the world who didn't like EarthBound when I played it, but I'd be willing to give it a second chance if I ever found the time.
I guess I could say something like "Pac-Man is the best video game character ever." I doubt I'd retract that statement anytime soon.
That big ugly on the cover looks kind of like the final boss in Final Fantasy 4.
You drift in Chocobo GP pretty much how you do in Mario Kart, so I didn't have much trouble with it.
I reviewed Calico a while back on GamerDad.

I never really got into Punch Out very much, but my brother Jeff sure liked it! Thanks for listening!
The Japanese game Ouendan uses male cheerleaders instead of secret agents and the songs are totally different. Elite Beat Agents is pretty much a complete overhaul.
I didn't play Super Hang On in arcades much but I certainly saw it everywhere. But more than that, I heard it everywhere because for some reason they always had the volume turned up super loud no matter which arcade I went to. So I'd always hear that little 'dong...dong....donggg.." title screen diddy no matter where I was in the arcade.
I hope you do get to listen, and thanks in advance! I mentioned Elite Beat Agents in the podcast, but it didn't make the list. It's still a good game, though. I bought it at Wal Mart for ten bucks a long time ago! Have you played the Japanese game it's based off of? It's called Ouendan and even got a sequel over there.
That Asha in Monster World game is really good.
Aside from the games I review, right now I'm playing a lot of Klonoa Fantasy Reverie and Live A Live.
