I know where you're coming from bud. I love the game though (I'm a sucker for difficult games!), and it took me a while to get the hang of.

I'm not sure if it's still available or not, but there was a free DLC whenever it came out. I downloaded it and played the battle over and over and levelled up all of my characters significantly and it helped a lot. It took a lot of time, but it was well worth it.

Make sure to 'join' characters during battles. I usually found that if I took a powerhouse-character and synced them with a Pegasus Knight, I would have a pretty powerful character that could traverse great distances and deal a decent amount of damage.

I had no qualms about paying for the Dragonborn DLC. It was massive and greatly extended the gameplay, which is just how DLC should be done!

I've heard of it, but I've never tried it. The concept and storyline always seemed like a neat idea, but I just never got around to playing it yet. Kind of sucks to know that it's a crap game though

I really do enjoy the history and easter eggs of gaming. I wonder if I can become a Gaming Historian? Or perhaps I'll just fight Chris Hardwick for the title of Nerdist?

I was pondering the idea of filing a claim since I've bought a new EA Sports game every other year (I normally buy every two years, so I have Madden '07, '09, '11, and '13). But I don't have anything to show them in regards to purchasing them 'new' (Ie, receipts) and I've also traded a fair amount of them back in. So I don't know if it'll be worth my time or not to be honest.

It still blows my mind that these two are coming together in a comic. I'm definitely going to have to check out that free prelude that comes out in May. Can't wait to see it and all of the artwork in it's glory

And Skyrim is a massive game, and the DLC seems to make it twice as large! If you don't have the DLC yet, I'd definitely recommend Dragonborn since it takes place on the island from Morrowind.

I had a tough time staying away from reviews as well. I would glance at numerical reviews, but I would avoid anything written just so it didn't ruin anything for me!

And it is a tough build actually. It takes a whole different approach than the normal builds in Dark Souls! I'm glad to know you're excited though!

I for one am pretty stoked about this announcement.

i loved A Link to the Past, and I can't wait to get my hands on the new one. There are so many similarities and additions, I can just feel the awesome-ness seeping from it already!
