welcome to Pixlbit. I grew up with the 2600 too. But I never had a SNES -- my JRPG glory days were on the PSONE.
welcome!

welcome!
cool, what's your steam name and I'll add you to my friends?
I was always curious about Yakuza. I played Sleeping Dogs and really liked it.
welcome to Pixlbit. Like Leeradical said, this is where all the refugees ended up. Pixlbit has been very welcoming and accomodating for our needs. Nice to meet you!
I haven't been able to get into these yet, and I love the genre.
well you're probably right about that. I dunno how well the Ps3 will age but the original Xbox aged terribly, that thing is a hunk of junk. the PS2 though is really robust and dependable.
my first PS2 I had for a while but it finally died and I got a silver slim. It's kind of low profile, but it's okay. I need to buy a new Logitech wireless controller though I lost mine and I will get back into Ps2 gaming myself, which I love.
sometimes I hear sounds in movies that I originally heard in video games, like the alarm noise in GoldenEye. I hear that sound and other sounds from that game all the time I swear.
There's some movies that reuse some starwars sounds, like the sound of an engine dying that's in like every Spielberg movie ever. Everytime I hear it I think of the Millenium Falcon trying to take off.
Good luck with your insomnia. That plan works... sometimes!
hmmm never heard of this one. Can't say I'm gonna order it off Amazon in the next ten minutes either. I love that quirky titles like this got made back then though.
I cannot wait for these games! My #1 reason to finally get a Vita.
