I always get really sensitive about the combat in RPGs too. What is it with that? However, even though it's more actiony, if it's done well, I'll like it. Sounds like Witcher 3 may have simplified it's combat a little too much and made it too hack 'n' slashy for some people. I do like a good hack 'n' slash game though.
I really want to play Jagged Alliance. I think I played one of them ported to the DS. It wasn't too good though as I remember it. The PC versions I've heard are much better.
Cool. After playing Act Raiser I really like games that switch styles or combine several game types. I'll keep an eye out for this one.
I wanted to try Bulletwitch. Also, my friend played a bunch of Bloodrayne and seemed to like it. I gotta try that one too after your great description of the gameplay that takes place after that first dreadful hour or so.

It seems like nothing at all at first and then you start making things and exploring and, darn, you get hooked quickly.
For some reason when you said Edge of Tomorrow I thought of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow which wasn't a great film, but had a great visual style that I liked. I never got to Edge of Tomorrow. After hearing all about it, I don't think I'll see it now.
So want to get to Far Cry 4. Maybe on my next playlist. 8 more to go on my present 12 game playlist.
