Dammit, now I want a Whopper.

Couple of things I'm excited about

I hope Oculus is the future, that would be cool. Of course, I'd prefer something a bit less gaudy than big ol' binocs, but I'm happy where things are going, nonetheless.

Things I Have Been Doing; Brawling in Arrakis

Haven't seen Code Geass or Death Note, but I think I'd like Death Note.

Smash Bros. Brawl I'd also like, but I'll probably never own a Wii, so I'm good with still trying to beat those last three challenges and get the other trophies I'm missing in Melee for the rest of my natural life.

I've heard of Tunnels and Dune, but I have to get through Mockingjay before reading anything else. After Earth you seem to have the same opinion about as most people; I was never interested to start with, so the reviews about wooden acting don't help. It does remind me I still need to see Man of Steel, though, and This is the End.

Get what you mean about lack of instrumentation, definitely gave Byker Hill and Oak, Ash & Thorn a great quality. Circled by Hounds was a great break back into instrumentation though. The three that came after it were collectively my favorites, especially "Pharoah" and "Dark Island," and Kathy Mattea was a favorite cause it was upbeat. Might come back to hear more of David Francey's lyrics.

And I know what you mean about needing to get away and sing with a group of people. I'm still hyped from the concerts I attended Saturday, one of which (brentalfloss) ended in the whole room singing along to Hey Jude. Yes, I realize it's probably been done/covered to death, but I've never sung it with other people like that before.

Update: gaming and reading

Man, I envy that you're reading so much and I'm here having a hard time focusing long enough to get through freaking Mockingjay! lol

Here's me looking cool in the Peterton museum

Nice! Pretty much everyone at SGC this past weekend had a 3DS, lots of people getting Street Passes and playing this. Dig the t-rex.

One of the Jet Force Geminis or Banjo Kazooie would be cool, but I know why it isn't happening.

Got theit autographs on a few things, including Spoony signing my Snob DVD as his character, and crossing out Snob's name in the title. XD Plus pics with both.

I hope you get to go to something like this one day. I've never been to a convention before, but definitely fun.

Well, I had an awesome time, but I definitely understand where you're coming from. I got in free, had no other plans, and like a lot of the people who were there quite a bit, so I was kind of opposite of you.

I got brentalfloss to sign his cd that i bought/Bits of Me, my Starry Knight Batman shirt, and got a picture with him and his gf/wife later (forget if they're married or not).

I really wish I had known who Nathan Barnett/Keith Apothecary was, I would have gotten him to sign something, because his show was awesome. He hurt his ankle jumping off a balcony before his set, but I thought the limping around was shtick, but the talk of the town was that he really did hurt himself. Brentalfloss was after him, and joked about him being like Steve Irwin: wrestle enough crocodiles, eventually some other animal will sting you when you do this shit. XD
