The longest I spent with a game this year was probably Halo 4 and The WItcher 2. I probably didn't spend much more than 20-25 hours with them both.
I did probably spend 60+ hours with the entire Metroid series this year. I played through all but two of the games at least once this past year.
After playing an hour or so of Ghosts' multiplayer I realized why I like Halo's multiplayer the best. I liked knowing exactly who I need to shoot because they are going to be red or blue. I have second guessed myself way too many times and died way too much because I do not know which players are on my team or not.
The Steam Sale burned its way through my pockets. I picked up a dozen or so games this year. I think that it is about time to build a new computer.
Now I am curious. I am not quite sold on the OUYA, but you have gotten me interested.
I have surprised myself this year with my embrace of digital games. I still feel the need to have physical copies of console releases, but now I prefer digital on the handheld side. It just makes sense to me nowadays. I hate swapping out the cartridges and like having access to all of my games at once.
I am glad to see that the games that stood out for me are on your list. I think that Tearaway ends up being my favourite game this year, probably because it took me by surprise. I did enjoy A Link Between Worlds, Bioshock Infinite, Stealth Bastard and Fire Emblem Awakening.
I hope to play Rayman and Super Mario 3D World and possibly Sly Cooper.
Tearaway was just on sale on the PSN for half off. I wasn't planning on getting it, but at that price I had to jump on it.
One of the things that I did love about Tearaway was that they kept introducing new mechanics and abilities throughout the game. It was nearly everything that I wanted in a platformer. I actually don't feel quite so bad not having a Wii U and SM3DW anymore.
I just finished Tearaway. It was amazing and probably my favourite game of the year. That is saying a lot because of my love of A Link Between Worlds.
Well, this is the first one that I can agree with because I actually played it. This game was definitely a highlight of the year.
Yep, just another awesome month for PS+. I am looking forward to don't starve and my brother will make good use of the PS3 titles.
