It's been rough at RMN,Snee. (As rough as it can be online. lol.) I feel like I could have avoided all this by not putting up my game's character concept art but it's not as if I knew people were going to freak out over it so severely.
In my day "fan service" was okay. Now it's the equvilent of punching babies. If you show a little bit of panties or camel toe you're suddenly a misogynist.
Yup,should have just put up the game by itself!
I'm sorry I wasn't here to see you off,Gray! Regardless, I hope the chest pain is nothing serious. Hang in there!
Games back in the day were more challenging but I rarely found them to be unfair. Then again, I had better reflexes when I was younger too. lol. I miss having the skills to beat the original Castlevania or Megaman 2 without even twitching.
I hate getting so far only for it to be all for naught. It's not I'm an achievement whore but when a game bugs out of me it's the equvilent of reading a book only for the next couple of pages to be gibberish spewing misprints.
Ah,my bad! My suggestion? Scour for em on amazon. That's where I got most of mine!
I still remember loving Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. It wasn't quit as great as the first one but I had some really good friends to play it with. I keep hoping they will make a MUA 3 someday but until then it's good to know I can pick up Marvel Lego Super Heroes and probably enjoy the heck out of it!
I feel the same. These modern war-game fpses just rub me wrong. Throughout the years I've seen the commercials and the game footage and EVERYTHING looks the same to me. The maps also get more linear and lazy. The older games seem "better",y'know?
I'm also a bit against the "America, fuck yeah! We can do no wrong!" sentiments behind these games. Sure there was "No Russians" but wasn't that a scenerio where a Russian was killing his own people? Correct me if I'm wrong,Blake.
I am grateful for pixlbit! I also think I might have found a "nicer place" for sharing homemade rpgs too.
It is kind of "wrong" in my opinion. If the dad's kid was 12-14? Yeah, I'd be somewhat okay with it. But 7 or 8? You're right. It's a bit young to be exposed to that kind of mayhem.
