I've always wanted to try out Dreamfall. The atmosphere looks so cool. Also, I want to try Space Quest because I'm a sucker for any sci-fi/ comedy. One game that I'm not sure if it's point or click or not that I loved was Kings Quest. I don't know why, but that game just sucked me in.
I picked up borderlands 2 this week as well as part of a steam sale. The whole loot thing is new, but really refreshing in a world full of dull run of the mill shooters. I love Hd collections too, and I'm gonna pick up the kingdom hearts one eventually. I've never played zone of the Enders, but giant mechs look cool so I'm totally gonna look into that. I'm thinking of buying a 2ds in the coming months too. So far all that I've heard about it is good, so that's making me wonder why I ever questioned it lol! Does the system feel like cheaper plastic? I know that it's made for kids so it might be a bit more durable like that.
The thing about Pokemon that I love is that, starting out, it gives yiu a real sense of wonder/danger/excitement. Not a lot of other RPGs can claim to be quite as immersive as Pokemon is; when playing, you are the character, and the character is you. And (at least for me) you feel like the Pokemon are really yours, and you love them all. Pokemon isn't the beat rpg series, but it definitely has the most heart.
People and their beliefs... Sigh. Either way, the worst thing we can do is condone the woman and call her crazy and say that she's wrong, that reflects badly on the gaming community. If that's her opinion then so be it, we have to respect that no matter how crazy it seems. At least when the kids are able to live on their own they can have their Lego games without someone telling them it's bad for them.
