Yea, that's a neat part to the Greg Bear Forerunner stories. That we fought the Forerunners and lost and were de-evolved as punishment. Then we rediscovered Forerunner tech as if it was new and strange.
It's like a conspiracy. You find yourself starting to buy digital games. The next thing you know, that's all there is and you've given your hard copies to Goodwill.
I mentioned to a Gamestop employee how appealing the $249 Wii-U was but that I didn't want it. He immediately said, "waiting for it to go to $200?" I was like, "what?". Maybe he knew a serious price cut was coming. Anyway it's good to wait a little longer. I can feel it in the air, even though price cuts are not common for Nintendo. But they did it for 3DS when sales weren't good. So fingers crossed.
It's like every week there's another storm. Is it a sign of a coming ecological disaster? I've never seen such persistant snow storms in my area of PA.
I've played a lot of those. One I haven't played yet but is on PSN is Ring of Red. It's a game very similar to Valkyria Chronicles that combines turn-based strategy with real time combat.
I like the way they used the cut scenes. Really draws you into the next Act.
I hope I get to it. Got so many games on my "to play" list it's kinda rediculous.
So many good fight moments in that movie. That one fight almost went too far. BTW was there a Wilhelm Scream when that guy got tossed out a window in The Raid? If it was it was clipped short because I really couldn't tell if it was a Wilhelm or not.
Why not. They're still fun the second or fifth time around.
Boy Traveller's Tales really does stick to the formula they created for the very first Lego game. Why mess with a good thing. They still manage to create really interesting games with inventive design.
What a great system. I'll be playing it in the post-apocalypse world attached to a solar pannel of my own design.
