To be real. I've never really gotten grief from family members for gaming, but at the same time, I've been very careful to hide my game playing from them. I really wish one of them was a gamer because I can talk all day on the subject. My sister's family out in Ohio, seems to be more open to games. I actually think I may end up playing some Xbox with them when I get there.

That's a good responce. "Well, should I take up drinking instead?" I'll say.

I'm kinda not being too fair to them really. My bro-in-law used to play NBA Jam and his brother still has an arcade cabinet at his house.

At Easter, my Mom actually asked me about interesting games she could play. I mentioned Professor Layton, but she doesn't have a DS. I was trying to think of PC games that are casual but smart. She's was a biochem teacher by trade, so some kind of tricky puzzle game might be her thing. I could only think of sites like PopCap. I haven't played much on the PC for a while.

You're right. I am. It's the kind of thinking I get into sometimes late at night. I guess I'm just not all that comfortable with my family, strange as that sounds.

I used to go to Gamestop a least once a week. Now it's once a month. I like to browse and they just won't leave me alone.

Good point. Waiting can be bad.

He's a gonzo journalist! I often think of what that means exactly. I kinda want to be one too.

Another book about biker gangs on my list that came out this year is Charles Falco's Vagos, Mongols, and Outlaws. It's about the darker side to these gangs and his infiltration of them to solve a murder.

So I decided I wanted to do some renovations....

I have dreams of designing a cool game room. Shelving where you can see everything for easy access is key. Good job.

Dan Amrich of the One of Swords podcast (ex Gamepro. Official Xbox Magazine writer) did a great rant on this exact subject with many of the same arguments you made. Hilarious that people have opinions even about things they know nothing about. LOL

What a coincidence because I just started to read Hunter Thompson's Hell's Angels today! Also, my first thought in reading your blog was the Motorhead song Iron Horse. I was going to link it here, but you've already done it!

My favorite motorcycle gaming experience was Road Rash on the PS1. Someone needs to release a current gen version of that game pronto! I wonder, does Lost and the Damned have any bike on bike fighting like Road Rash?
