Don't worry, Nintendo actually confirmed that they will continue the Year of Luigi in 2014.
Anyway, it's not New Year's Eve on Colombia, but have a happy new year Michael! Let's cross our fingers for good things to happen on 2014.

I still need to play all the games mentioned here but still, very nice list. The two I want to play the most here are Super Mario 3D World and Rayman Legends.
If I ever get a PS3, I will get this game. It looked great when I saw the footage and the description of the game before the release, but now your blog has definitly convinced me to try the game.
Once I get a Wii U, i'll definitly get Super Mario 3D World and Rayman Legends. Then again, if I get impatient, I can buy the Steam version of Legends instead.
I'll also cross my fingers if a PC version of GTA V gets released. I played the first minutes of the game on my cousin's PS3 and I was very impressed.
Man, hope they are alright. I give them my good luck for their health.
I already have some plans for 2014, one of them an exchange to Belgium, which I can't wait for it.
Merry late christmas Phil!
Man, everyone here and their dog has a Vita, except me. Oh well, enjoy the console.
Definitly will check out this game.
Very interesting choices Cary. Though i'm way behind the games. I can't wait to play Super Mario 3D World, Wind Waker HD and Rayman Legends once I get a Wii U and A Link Between Worlds once I get and beat the original game.
I guess my GOTY and only game I bought that is from this year is Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl. Very interesting and it helps that the game is a begginers guide for the series.
Despite my inexperinece with the Devil May Cry franchise (I only played the first bits of the third game), this game looks so good. I hope to get it on Steam soon.
