Quite liked the poem. Very short, but straightforward. If sung, it could fit easily in a 70s Rock love song or a Led Zeppelin tune.

Good luck getting another job. I wouldn't really try door to door sales, since like Jehova witnesses, I have a likely posibility that they could shut the door in front of my nose. Since I love books, i'd go with the library job.
Just heard of Chulip thanks to Game Grumps, but I haven't watched that LP. Right now, i'm in Mario Party 2.
Nothing like some good'ol Henry Rollins.
I definitly liked the song. It had a very good Stooges vibe to it without sounding too similar.
For a moment, I didn't remember this was the tie-in game for that Sci-Fi tv show, until I started reading your review.
For a moment I thought you had bought a Wii U.
I'm already contemplating in getting a Wii U and i'm glad so far, Nintendo is not doing any of the online pass. That and Sonic: Lost World are making me buy the console.
Another great collection of songs Blake. I think I specially liked Change Part 2, because of the sound, changes of styles and it's like you combined Tool, Deftones and Dream Theater in one band to create a great combination.
Slightly off topic, do you always buy your albums phyically or digitally?
Keeping aside Parasite Eve, since I have never played any of the games, I can see your point with people complaining about that there's no "realism" or thinking certain situations are too "autrageus" on not only videogames, but in media. Sure, I like some realism, but at the same time it's great to turn your brain off and enjoy what's being shown on screen, and at the same time it could depend wheter a scene it's well done or if a scene is enjoyable even if we think in our mind that "no one could have survived that". Just an anotation since I started to see many cynical nerds with those attitudes regarding "realism" and all of those things.
I had only played (and own) the first Metroid and the Prime games. Although sometimes it frustrates me due to not knowing where should I go, I can really see the legacy the first game had as far as games mechanics go and really, atleast the controls really work well. On Prime, I love all three of them. They are inmersive, big, the controlls work well, they are pretty long and have great graphics and sountrack. Really, expending a lot of money on the now rare Metroid Prime Trilogy pack for the Wii was a great inversion.
Congrats on your daughter.
Really bad you had to go through that. Because I don't play much online games (or should I say rarely), the only experience to an annoying player was in the online mode for Resistance: Retribution and a group of campers from the enemy team. The good thing is that their camping didn't really last long.
