I remember that blog and that incident well. Even back then there was some consumer backlash because of there being a VIP Pass being used, along with some lanuch hiccups with some codes not working or not even being printed.

I too forsake AC until I learned that the GOTY Edition would have all the content minus the VIP Pass. it makes me wonder if that was their intention all along or if they had to remove the ViP Pass to ensure the game actually sold after the problems during launch. After all Ninja Gaiden III: Razor's Edge on the PS3/Xbox 360 still has the original ONline pass the vanilla version had.

I honestly don't know. I didn't bother to look at the spine when i bought it for him. I'll have to ask him if he recalls the misspelling.

Yet another Capcom game that makes a D&D game that is not a D&D game in nature. Originally I was put off by DD with it's on disc DLC, does this game have the same issue? If not I perhaps could be pursuaded in trying this out. I did like the King of Dragons from back in the day.

You did better than me when it comes to games. Sometimes I don't even get to play antying in weeks, let alone beat something during a month. I either have to bing game or set a time that usually get's overtaken by the usual life expectations. I think I need to mow my lawn soon anyhow.

Half Life Booo!!!!

That game can forever be buried in my backlog if I ever kept one. My copy of Half Life 2 still remains as my favoriate cup coaster. Still like tripping out the physics in Portal though. I always try to chase my own tail when I make two portals in a corner. Stupid I know but cool to watch.

I want to play this game eventually. But I want to at least own the first three before I even try the fourth, even though I think I did play the demo. It didn't do much for me since it mostly focused on the combat than story. Hopefully the story will be enough to keep me going. I'm more of a gun down person than a beat down man myself.

I have to admit I was scared off when I heard about this game was "too hard" to control even back when the game was released brand new. Though it does make me curious to see exactly what this person is talking about. Perhaps when I get done with getting caught up and get bored watching alien documentaries I might check up on this, after getting caught up on some web videos I've missed out on.
