Now THIS is the metal gear I've been waiting for. I got burned with the "essentail" collection (kinda) and I held out after the HD collection game out. Perhaps it's time to see on this version, even if the original MGS is just a Download.

This is my last time I want to do this, those screws are almost stripped from my last try, plus I hope I don't need to have the most recent firmware update save on a zip drive to finalize the result.
Now I just need to find a good price on a 1TB 5200 RPG 2.5 hard drive.
I hate that when that happens to. I know it's a joke that it's the internet and we should "though I disagree, I respect your opnion" but it would be nice if we coudl civilally agree to disagree instead of outright blocking people just because they don't agree with every thought one has.
I understand if one has to stop following or gets blocked because they are too negative, but at least I'd like to go for the benefit of the doubt that the current "if your for us then your against us" mentality that has overtaken rational though as of late in almost every opinonated issue.

Odd that I want to take a break from writing again after my last blog post. Plus I got a bunch of new games to try out. and yet I haven't done a "MyBuys" blog in awhile.
that's the great thing about a possible retro summer. some of the games I want to highlight can be played on current systems at the moment. I'll have to see what comes to my fancy I guess. Here's hoping CT stops bothering me, get your money from the other deadbeats in your state!

Still waiting on the contention letter so we'll see how that goes. I remember those jobs too. warehouses that only want temp help to get things going. Always wondered what the perm. guys got to earn that job in general. I guess one can count AC as a job perk these days like how some apartments offer it for free.
at least your getting paid to paint though, I wouldn't do that for double the fee. I just hate to paint is all.
I thought it wouldn't be that bad myself, but the last warehouse job I had was a AC set up. didn't realize how much you'd miss it till it's gone. Still holding out though, long enough to enjoy some vacation. Right now I'm trying to keep relaxed and not sweat the blogging, moreso with all the good games out this summer AND the comment backlog I have here on pixlbit. It's not quite hot enough yet in my area (Most of the heat seems to be centered on the east/west coasts), but I feel a retro summer coming along soon.
Never have I seen a summer where there was so much gaming goodness to be had! Makes me glad I took a vacation just to keep up, if not on games but blogging.

All three stories are a concern for me. It's look more and more like a racial issue with how some in the media are trying to portray it as. The sad thing is we'll probably never get the truth on what happened since the only people that know is Martin and Zimmerman and Martin is dead.
Paula Deen has just blown way of or porporstions. You can clearly see this lawsuit is nothing more than a cash grab. This is just the latest social action being take against someone that did a stupid thing a long time ago.
Though the DOMA ruling is limited some are seeing it as a green light to rip apart other state's definitions of marriage. I know Iowa's attempts of having their own version of Prop 8 is dead since they fear future lawsuits.
This is a mad, mad, world we live in. Makes me glad I enjoy games just to get away form it all.
Did you try out the multiplayer yet? Still haven't heard much about that portion of the game from many.
