Well I will just have to wait until they iron out the kinks because both my computers have Nvidia cards. Not a big deal. I've waited this long. I can wait a little longer.

I'm thinking of setting/trying it up on my Win 7 Laptop, and then buy a copy on a flash drive to use it for my gaming rig.

Oh wow I didn't know there were people buying cards for that much considering the cards I have that range in vale of 10 to 30 cents each, but I guess some people really want to collect them.

Cards on steam are like the Trophies for the PS3/PS4 in that they can be used to raise your Steam level/rank, but on steam you can do a bit more with such "rewards". You can trade, sell for petty cents, or when you get a full set you can create a badge that will increase your Steam level/rank and give you some rewards like emoticons and such. You can get cards by earning achievements. Not all games support such feature.

Wouldn't mind having that Batdino as DLC for Arkham Knight, but only if it were like a Zoid where Batman would get in it and start to wreck every baddy in his way.

Yeah they announced it a while a go http://store.steampowered.com/universe/vr, and I don't don't know anything about how it works, but like you I hope that if they do release a Portal game it doesn't require the use of their VR system.

Valve had a supposedly Portal-ish demo for their VR contraption, so you never know. It might just happen.
