I want to play this bad! Just wish I had more time and more money. lol. Bioshock as a series has always been great at holding up a distorted fun house mirror of our own cultural flaws. I'm glad Infinite continues that tradition nicely.

Might have a point though I think Binary Domain is over a year old. However, I've been wrong before. lol.
I probably preferred this one marginally over Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Sure it had less characters but it felt more balanced as a whole!
Be cool to know your impressions on Binary Domain. I got it recently and I've really been having a blast with it so far! I probably prefer it a bit over Gears Of War 2 as I find the squadmates to be more likable. (Though they come with the usual steroetypes. I'm especially fond of the french combat robot Cain. lol.)
Beyond that, Casey brings up a solid point. Jade Empire is great and I kind of wonder why we haven't gotten a sequel to it yet.
Good luck! The MGS definitely gives you bang for your buck. I need to pick it up sometime as well but with RE: Revelations and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge vying for my attention as well, I don't know where the chips will fall just yet. lol.
I have to say I was excited simply because Mortal Kombat turned out to be spectacular. Nether-realm studios puts a lot of heart and energy into whatever they do!
However, fighting games aren't my top genre. I like them but I'm not as fanatically devoted to them as many of my friends. I'll get this but probably not as soon as everyone else.
Lollipop Chainsaw references this movie a lot. lol. One of the bosses is a zombie Punk Rocker and much akin to this, it doesn't take itself too seriously.
I do know as a little kid the zombie that came out of the black cannister scared the crap out of me.
Lucas arts put out some great games! StarWars BattleGround 2 and Jedi Academy were the sizzle! THeir collaboration with Bioware also brough us the spectacular KOTOR games. I even liked Force Unleashed though I've read the sequel wasn't quite as good.
It's cool, bro. lol. You're a teen and she's a teen so it's all good. A few years between people isn't too controversial and after you both age even more it will not even be an issue anymore. (There's also 30-40 year old men who marry 20-25 somethng year old women.)
Don't get me wrong. I do think there is misogyny in gaming. A lot of gamer females put up with grief on Xbox live just for having tits and a vagina. But that's just it. "Gamer harassment" is something "real" effecting real gamers so I'd be more inclined to worry about the treatment of my female fellows than whether or not Juliet Starling's dress is two sizes too small.
Feminism ain't all bad but the movement often directs its' attention at really stupid issues. If books and movies can have variety amongst "grind house entertainment" "romantic smut" and "sophisticated narrative" I don't see why games cannot have the same high-brow and low-brow spectrums.
Sometimes I "want" to think and feel but others times I just want to blow shit up and look at idealized fictional portrayals of human beings who would never exist in real life.
I'm all for feminists helping real women in compromised situations but I don't think they should be on a higher pedestal than men or try to dictate what is acceptable and unacceptable when it comes to entertainment. One group shouldn't decide these things for EVERYONE else!
I want to provoke tigers into attacking other people too! Looks fun! (Troll face)
I see your one year old is wearing jedi pants. The boy has the potential!
