Sounds cool. I mirror your worries about the developer though. But this means that I really need to get around to playing Arkham City lol

That happens and YES! It is an awesome idea
Dr. Who would definitely be more whimsical. I hope they at least alternate serious and funny.
My wife and I are nearly caught up on the new series (well, technically it's a continuation of the old but whatever). We love it, definitely recommended. It's on Netflix, if you have that.
Star Wars would certainly give them plenty to work with.
There are one or more treasures on each map that aren't visible till you stop on an adjacent square, so finding them can be tricky. The treasures seemed random though. One time I found a treasure, then died, and when I got it again it was a different treasure (but on the same spot). It was usually money, though sometimes it was armor or a weapon. But I did get a couple of nice skills that way.
The skill system is pretty flexible. By the end of the game I was tweaking each character's loadout before battle if not changing them outright. You should definitely give the game a go if you can find the time.
Yeah, I'm definitely liking the new option, D. Kirby is awesome because he's the world most versatile hero. Platforming? Check. Pinball? Breakout? Check. Racing? Fighting? Check. Golf? Check and check. All we need is a proper Kirby RPG. When you play a Kirby game you're in for a guaranteed good time. Also, he's adorable
Man, I haven't played Kirby's Dream Course since the SNES days. I wish it was inlcluded in Kirby's Dream Collection, though I do think it's on Virtual Console...? Anyway, for me that game would be Super C (the sequel to Contra) for the NES. To this day I can sit down and finish it by myself on one continue and once I beat it without dying at all, an accomplishment I'm very proud of.
I've never heard of this game but I admit I'm not that familiar with Nippon Ichi's output. Sounds pretty neat, though, and I love the sprites for the characters.
I'm playing BioShock Infinite (really good) right now. I just finished Jeanne d'Arc on the PSP a week or so ago and wrote a review of it and also finished getting all the gold trophies in Mario Kart 7. I think next I'll finish up some portable games that fell by the wayside, like Mega Man Powered Up and LocoRoco 2.
