That's because it was designed for conoles and ported to the PC. I think I gave up on it when I went exploring, but the game said I shouldn't explore there, shot a rocket at me and I had to start from 2 hours before, because the game has THE WORST checkpoint system ever.
I dislike this game. Mainly because the pc port was atrocious, every time you turned around quickly, you had to wait for the textures to load, and it was just really bland and repetitive. Definitely the worst gam ID Software have ever made IMO.
I played WoW but didn't get into it as much as everyone else did. Guild Wars 2 was what really enamoured me, and I still check in every once in a while just to say hi to my guild, and play some WvW because it's awesome.
The show isn't terrible, surprisingly. It's definitely not a Battlestar Galactica contender like they promised, but it's alright.
Yep. This is the second month and I'm already starting to regret my decision. My last one was for Tera if you haven't read it, I'll link it if you want. I'm doing Neverwinter this month btw. I was going to do Age of Wushu, but I just can't connect to that game for some reason.
Yeah. I dived back into the game yesterday and they'd actually really improved it, but apart from being a shooter, it just doesn't do enough to differentiate itself from other MMO's to really warrant paying full price. If it comes down to 20 bucks or something, I'd say pick it up, but not at the price it's at now.
2014? So much for "end of this year." Anyway, I have high hopes for this game... although they're going more straight up open world, which I'm not quite sure will work with this series. Both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls were more metroidvania than elders scrolls-ish...
I heard that a female Doctor might be in the works. Also, how are they going to get past the set number of Doctors thing?
I love this game. I originally bought it on PC and then I bought it on Xbox to see if the port was any good, and I was surprised that the game actually plays better on a controller. The graphics ported over well too. It looks much better than Battlefield 3 did on consoles anyway. The only thing graphically that's really missing is (apart from higher settings) light shafts, because holy fuck were they amazing on pc!
