The only time I ever hit 99 with everybody was in Final Fantasy 6. I was obsessed with that game and wanted to do everything possible. I ain't got time for that sort of thing anymore. I'll grind if I need to, or am having fun with the battle system, but that's about it.
It's fitting you talk about FF 13 since Lightning Returns comes out today. Somehow I managed to squeeze some kind of microscopic amount of enjoyment out of 13, but 13-2 was an utter abomination. After that I swore I'd never play another modern FF game ever again.
I played this on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. It seemed like a cool concept, but I didn't really think it was that fun. I saw it complete in box at a Goodwill recently. I would have bought that if I had a Sega Master System. I missed out on the Master System.
I fell asleep during the ending lol. It was so damn long and I had worked all day.
Well, despite how blasphemous / idiotic this may sound, I prefer the NES over SNES. SNES is my second favorite console ever though. I am sorry for your loss. I parted ways with my NES and SNES games a long time ago, but have since gained back most of them. That'll never happen again. I'll be like that dude with his Harley lol.
Yeah. I don't blame the games really. Hardware fails. It just made me so mad. I had to take out loans from my family to be able to afford that damn thing. It was one of those early fat PS3s with PS2 backwards compatibility. I bought a PS2 soon after it died thinking I was done with the PS3. What alternative was there? Buy a 360, and have it RROD? lol
I was disappointed by GOW too. Mostly because the GOW Collection is what I was playing when my first PS3 got the Yellow Light of Death. That piece of garbage only lasted about two years. I was so pissed off I ended up ripping it apart with my bare hands lol. Kratos would have been proud!
Did you hear that the people behind Arkham Origins have no plans to patch that buggy mess, and yet are working on DLC? It makes me sick. 
I usually don't pay any attention to the plot in FPS games. I play them to shoot crap. I just mentioned Infinite because from your description it didn't sound like it was that great. You did say "It's fucking terrible. " and "Fuck this game." after all lol.
I haven't played Borderlands 2, but really don't care to since the first one bored me to death. I tried playing online with other people and everybody was off doing their own thing. It seemed totally pointless. I guess it would be better with friends and teamwork... but like you say, so would everything else lol.
I'm glad I got Infinite for free. If it sucks that bad then oh well.
Chrono Trigger. I paid a lot of money for the SNES cart. It's worth every penny though. I know I could have got the DS version for much cheaper... but, I'd rather play it on my nice TV than that tiny DS screen.
