Nintendo franchises that might be good Mobile games

Honestly, since you mostly run and jump, I think I'd be comfortable playing a basic Mario game for mobile the same way Sonic is played, with the arrow keys on the left side of the touch screen and using either a virtual button on the right of the phone or a button on the phone itself to jump. If you need more non-direction buttons, that's be easier on an Android than an iPhone (more buttons), but either way that could work.

I know this isn't my blog, but you got me curious. Why do you think Kirby should be the introduction to gaming for the littluns?

September 2015 Recap

Is Wolfenstein: The New Order still on sale? Might want to get me a full FPS for this PS4.

Temple of Osiris is fun and a cool freebie. Might get back to it.

Haven't heard much about Taken King. Was wondering how it was doing.

Saturday Morning RPG in any way based on cartoons of old?

I think Blake said he really loves La-Mulana EX. Did it originally release in 2012? Cause if so, probably the game I'm thinking of.

I tried playing Super Time Force and it was fun, but I got stuck on a tutorial thing related to the time travel mechanic. Granted, it was very early in the morning, and I think I should have paid more attention to the text.

Grow Home is fun, it's like a mini version of what I imagine No Man's Sky would be. Xewodrifter is a Metroidvania title and Teslagrad is a platform-puzzler with a really cool steampunk art style. I want to say based on its introduction it's set in Russia? Reminded me of An American Tail's opening.

I guess I should play my $3 copy of Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 1. Or was it RE2: Revelations ep. 1? Either way, longass title.

"Everyone remembers their first time playing a game." Ummm ... actually, while I can be fairly certain I probably played Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt first, there were other games on my older brother's NES I may have played before without realizing because I don't have a clear, distinct memory about my first-ever game.

I'd love to play Star Fox 64 for the first time again, because that game brings back that glorious fermaldahyde smell of a new N64 for Christmas 1997 and the amazing leap in video game technology made apparent by what used to be a fun on-rails shooter with basic polygons we used to rent for SNES at hotels look like the future of gaming. That opening in Corneria brings me back to childhood and the newness with which I experienced the world at age 7. The menu screen music still gives me chills. AQnd I still remember when I wasn't that great at the game and my mom shut the N64 off when I'd gotten farther than ever cause she was tired of me telling her I'd be finished soon and do chores.

Quick Hits: Watching Old TV Westerns, Red Moon, Lego Unboxing

Usually we have a different taste in music, but I really like that song. Smooth and catchy R&B. I usually don't like R&B.

Good on you for giving stuff to charity. We are always trying to give stuff away here, but ever since giving away certain old VHSes and CDs I'd grown out of and wish I'd kept for nostalgia, I tend to hoard. But there are definitely some clothes I'd be willing to part with.

Cool moon pics. It was damn pretty when I walked outside to see it. Very cool. I can kind of understand the Twitter guy though. I can be kind of a curmudgeon about what I do and don't care about, so aside from thinking it looks really cool and its rarity, I could see myself in 100 years waking up from cryogenesis saying "what's everyone so damn excited about, we had this in 2015; either it grants wishes or I don't care." At the time though, I just thought it was cool I got to see it. Nothing more than that really, but I wouldn't say I was unimpressed, especially since I'm a visual person.

LEGO Dimesnisons stuff looks so friggin' cool. I'm trying to be strong and hold out on buying anything though, especially since I really don't play LEGO games much.

Tony Hawk's 5 doesn't look new-gen enough to me to get it. To me it looks like Tony Hawk's 1 with updated graphics. The trailers didn't do anything to excite me and I'm skeptical if I'll like the new soundtrack, so I'll have to hear it before I go getting that game.

I won't tell you who it is, just that it's one of the few parts of that game I found really lame.

Look forward to the upcoming stuff.

Congrats on the job!

I missed Age of Ultron as well. Didn't go to the theaters much this year.

Back To Playing Android Games And Some Thoughts On Lego Dimensions

Oh Android/iOS? Thought you were doing this on console. I see.

Upblake - An Update Pun With Blake In It

I've been wanting to do some outdoors physical labor as an actual job. I've grown to see it as more fun. But I can see why it'd be challenging for so many hours. What I'm training for today is my job taking inventory at Home Depots. Still need to buy some slip resistant shoes and maybe some Dickies if I can't find enough black slacks.

Have fun on your sleep journey!

Nothing makes me feel worse or more impressed than people who are younger and yet more successful than I am.
