Killer is Dead and another Xboner

Posted on 06/29/2013 at 08:18 AM | Filed Under Blogs

they really ripped into M$'s BS, the U-Turn still doesn't fill me with confidence and the fact they took away what was considered a good idea like the "family sharing" (except the hour limit) plus being more expensive isn't going to help IMO. The offered far too many restrictions for their ideas to be viable right now. Hubris I SAY!

Killer is dead looks to have a similar tone to Killer 7 is some respect (kinda looks like it too) I hope they do treat the Nintendo fans with this, they are in dire need of 3rd party support.

Yep, the Goyer scripts was very poor and the irony is instead of Snyder holding back agood script it's the otherway around.

And you are right about Superman and maybe the whole cast but again, script. Superman didn't have the charn because he was only Superman for a day and even then he was a drifter blending in so you couldn't see the man we all know he'd become, one of my favourite scenes in the first S movie was when he caught the bullet and saved Lois, that said everything about him, but in this movie his development was crawling.

Action scenes man, everuone i talked to even my brother was like "Dragon Ball Z!" thet where excellent and well shot, not as memorably as say Avengers but it was more intense and viseral

Personally i feel like buying a new phone an So-something, maybe?

Oh and my mates on a comicbook forum told me the song Chris Cornell was singing

Christianity - Why I don't Like It

Posted on 06/24/2013 at 02:10 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I'm a christan but haven't gone to church regularly since i was 12ish, my dads family where brought up catholic but my grandad didn't go to church. In our family in general the institution of the church is a very deeply opposed concensus not to trust (try being a young black boy in the 70s and getting the small presents at the top of the tree and that will do something to you).

I grew up with my religion not being central to my life so an kind of Zelous religios antics astounds me or makes me feel uncomfortable to some degree, i guess it's just it's 'cause i'm an introvert at heartTongue Out

Anyway, it's funny just how much the Bible itself gets away with beyond the sexism racism and Incest (in most versions that's a "read between the lines" situation), but as i got older i started not holding christianity to all it' flaws because every other religion is just as bad once i realised that with help from people who knew better I can't help but laugh.

It's small things really that can stop religion bieng viable, like what you eat. Chris Rock said it best

"I refuse to believe on Judgement day my diets going to come into question"

As for all the conflict religion has caused? Well, it's sad to say but i'd rather it be for religious reasons because then we'd have to conceed the human race is pretty hopeless. Because then we'd all have to admit that we like killing each other for no other reason.

Anyway, nice to gaze into the life and times of whatsacow Smile

Have fun don't go in with to low of expectations it'll easily rise above them. This film isn't as bad as the naysayers are claiming but it is rife with problems, big and small.
