Seems like I saw Leviathan once. Freaked me out pretty good if I remember. Now when I hear that word I think of the Leviathans from the show Supernatural. Totally different but just as scary. I should really read The Hunger Games. Loved the film, but feel I missed a lot of details. I need to get caught up and ready by the time the next one hits the theater.

I've decided to take off my aluminum foil hat, close up my shanty up here in the mountains, and move back into polite society. Now if I can only mount this 50 calibur machine gun to my truck I will be ready to face the world! My still is being shut down, too. Dang revenuers got no reason to come on my land now!

What a rainy week...

Only reason I'm not a fan of rain is my job. I wheel around a $20,000 portable x-ray machine that I don't like getting wet. I go around to nursing homes doing that, btw. It rained today and I got lucky, though. Most places had a covered entrance. Congrats on Shovel Knight, that is amazing. Sounds like it really took off quickly. As for cut scenes,I rarely skip them. In MGS games they are so well done. Have to see them or I feel I'm missing out.

I gets almost comical at times. The writers of editorials(the local ones, anyway) are so biased to the right it's predictable what they will say.  Guess it's just business. They write what they think folks want to hear.

If it's easy to understand I will probably be okay to play it. RPG's like this one can often challenge me to my limits. The graphics look gorgeous. Definitlely a plus on that. Great review of yet another PS2 game I had never heard of. Your knowledge on PS2 titles is very impressive.

I like that waterfall in Tapped Out. Got that this morning,in fact. The PS3 games you showed that have me curious are Hawx,Lair, and Haze. None got good reviews, especially Lair. But I want to play it anyway. Played the demo for Haze and thought it was pretty decent. Thrift stores and pawn shops are two of my favorite haunts to find rare games and even not-so rare ones. I have found some great deals at Goodwill. We have a massive one that has tons of music, games, and books. And a gigantic section full of knick knacks. Can never have enough of those.  And Paramore rocks! They played DFEST here one time and blew people away. So good live.

Reason Darius Rucker is so good is he has soul in his voice. I even liked him with Hootie And The Blowfish. You have some great CD's,lots of Metallica! That's always good. Megadeth is awesome, too. Like your movies as well. Especially Cowboy Bebop. Saw that at the theater on an enormous screen. Very cool indeed I thought. The red ring pic scared me! I have visions of my next Microsoft console watching me at night. All fun and games til it becomes "self aware" and decides that humans are flawed creatures. Good news about finding wheels for your Dad. Hope they keep rolling for a long time to come.

Microsoft is a lot of things but stupid is not one. They don't want to give Sony the edge. So they might just back off on the whole thing before E3 when it will get tons of press.

Wall Street has gone right back to doing the same stuff that nearly wrecked the economy. Why would they not? If it blows up in their faces we will bail them out again. It is absolutely an unsustainable cycle of greed and arrogance. It will destroy the nation if something isn't done to change the status quo. As far as surveillance goes, they tell you it is to help fight crime and do good. But once a government can watch you at all times they never hesitate to try to start some big changes.

I think what worries me most is that our politicians have little to do with anything. They are merely puppets putting on a show for us. Corporations and the mega-rich pull their strings and make them dance. That is why they always get what they want. No matter who wins elections, they are covered.
