Amy on PSN Delayed

Due to a change in pricing, the PSN version of the game will be a week late.

Lexis Numerique and VectorCell have announced that their upcoming title Amy will be delayed by one week on the PSN. The reason is because "changing a price in the PlayStation™ Store system takes some time because of technical reasons linked to the servers."

CES 2012 Microsoft Conference Wrap-Up

CES 2012 is now underway and Microsoft's CES press conference yielded some announcements. One of the biggest announcements was the release date for Kinect for Windows. Coming on February 1, 2012, 200 companies, including Toyota, Mattell and American Express, are already developing apps for the motion control peripheral.

GameStop Sales Total $3.02 Billion This Holiday

GameStop had a great holiday season.

The 2011 holiday shopping season was a strong one for GameStop and the retailer has announced a year-over-year sales increase of more than 5% during the nine-week period that ended December 31. Sales were $3.02 billion, up from $2.86 billion from last year.

Rumor: Call of Duty Black Ops 2 in 2012?

Activision has multiple Black Ops domain names registered,

Call of Duty is a name gamers see over and over, and with good reason—it makes Activision a ton of money. Since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, each subsequent game in the series has topped the previous entry in sales. Since Infinity Ward released Modern Warfare 3 last year, the next title is in the hands of Treyarch, if the development trend continues. But what would they be working on? A return to WW II? Bethesda Wins Lawsuit Over Fallout

Interplay no longer has a license to develop a Fallout MMO.

In what is surely the first huge story of 2012, it was announced today that Bethesda Softworks has won the rights to the entire Fallout franchise, lock, stock, and barrel. The lawsuit, filed back in 2009 against original Fallout developer Interplay, had to do with a proposed MMO set in the popular wasteland series. This comes after a loss against Mojang, the company behind Minecraft, over the use of the word “scrolls” for the indie company’s next game.

VVVVVV Review

There’s death a-plenty in the eShop’s gravity defying PC port.

Reviewing VVVVVV is about as tough as getting your head around its title.  It’s an odd game that sticks out in a crowd.  It’s simple, yet quirky.  It’s hard not to want to pick it up and play it, yet once consumed it becomes difficult to formulate an opinion on.  But that’s precisely my job, to form an opinion and disseminate that to you, the reader.  The review that follows almost mirrors the end experience with VVVVVV – somewhat unstable but worth taking in.
