Players now have until the end of November to sign up.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer has been pretty smooth since its launch but the new Elite service has not. Due to these problems, the Elite service will be limited until additional servers are added.

Ninja Gaiden to Launch with Wii U

Just don't ask us when that will be.

At this past E3 Nintendo pulled back the curtains on the Wii U, the company’s first gaming platform capable of producing High Definition graphics.  While the controller and muddled presentation of the system took most of the spotlight, Nintendo produced a sizzle reel of 3rd party games that are said to be in development for the new system.  One of the more notable games in the reel was Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, a title that should give Nintendo some credentials with the mature gaming audience.  While we still don’t know for sure when the game is set to hit shelves, we have it on good authority it will launch alongside the system promoting it.

Another Day Another Sales Record Broken by Modern Warfare

Modern Warfare 3 sells a bajillion copies on day one.

We all knew that the launch of Modern Warfare 3 was going to be big, but I’m sure most wouldn’t have thought that the game would clear over $400 million in its first 24 hours of release. From just two territories.

Mortal Kombat Review

Mortal Kombat is back, but should it have stayed in the 90s with C&C Music Factory and Crystal Pepsi?

Who would have guessed that the 2009 release of Street Fighter IV would bring the fighting game scene of the 90s back with a vengeance? While the genre has never truly gone away, there was something about the release of Capcom’s fourth numbered entry in the SF series that seemed to remind gamers of all types that it’s fun to beat the crap out of your family and friends. Of course, a return to the fighting scene of the 90s also means a glut of also-rans showing up, and even though it might not be as crowded as it was in, say, 1994, separating the gems from the stinkers can be an issue. This is the challenge that Ed Boon faced as he released the 9th Mortal Kombat game onto consoles, but I can say with confidence that the new MK uppercuts the competition just as it did way back in 1992.

What if?: Legend of Zelda: Cucco Quest Wii U

Story, control, and gameplay ideas for a Zelda reboot.

After 25 years and 13 games, Zelda is certainly no spring chicken. We've heard more about Link, the Triforce, Ganon, and a plot hole-ridden timeline than you can shake a Deku stick at. It looks like Skyward Sword will shake things up, but for me it's not enough. The world of Hyrule needs a new hero to rise. That hero is the cucco.

Kinect Sports: Season Two Review

Better luck next year.

I'm not really sure how they did it. Very rarely are sequels to launch games worse off than the original, but Kinect Sports: Season Two manages to be even less compelling than its simplistic predecessor. Not only have half of the sports been done better by Wii Sports, but the other half are so shallow in their implementation, they won't garner any of your attention or time.
