Good afternoon Pixlpeeps! About an hour or two ago I was at Jury Duty. This was my week for duty but the first three days I was on Standby and like many (all) of us who were in this were hoping that we would go the entire week without stepping foot in a courtroom. Of course on Wednesday Night we got the call to show up on Thursday morning. The jury pool was broken up into two groups and my group went to a courtroom. I don't know what happened to the other group but I'm hoping they got to go to a courtroom as well instead of sitting in that jury room watching Home and Garden TV. Anyways we spent the rest of the day getting interviewed by the judge, and then by the lawyers. The questions were simple and straight forward, and one of the questions was “Have you or anyone you know have been a victim?” There were some really rough responses. The people were obviously excused and then there were the folks who were trying to get out service. There were a couple of folks who were just grasping at straws and just wasting everyone's time. These were the folks that truly angered me. Here was a person who could lose their freedom and for one selfish reason or another tried to use some truly flawed arguments to get out of service. One person wasted what totaled to be an hour out of two days using such flawed logic that there was a low sounding groan in the courtroom.

Pixlpeeps what is up? I hope you folks are ready for the weekend because I am. I am ready to tackle something fun (at least I think it is) and right after I finish this latest entry for Quick Hits with Chris, I am off to the local store to pickup a new external hard drive that I found that is relatively close in price to something I found on Amazon but I don't have to wait. Anyways how are you good people? Here in sunny Southern California Fall has decided to hit us hard, and by hard I mean its really windy outside and I think it's 59 degrees. For you folks with actual seasons that's probably nothing, but for folks here are dressing like it's either snowing (North Face and Ugg's with their ice coffee) to the odd (the guys with beanies, t-shirt, gloves, and shorts...WTF) to folks like me (hoodie or a hockey jersey and some jeans) Anyways I do like this weather because listening to Christmas Music about it being cold, and snowy while walking around in shorts is kind of odd.

So over the Thanksgiving Holiday I really didn't play much in terms of console games because I was spending time with the family, usually in front of the television watching sports (I see what you did NFL Schedulers having the Cowboys play the Indians on Thanksgiving.) When I did try something non tablet based I ended up having to reinstall the game, but more on that later on. Anyways let's review what I played during Thanksgiving.

Good morning Pixlpeeps! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and for my peeps in other countries I hope Thursday treated you well. Turkey Day was fun because I got to eat a lot, spent time with the family, and watched The DALLAS COWBOYS BEAT THE HATED WASHINGTON REDSKINS. Yes that deserved to be in all caps. So a couple of days ago I talked about why I was absent from here for about a week and today I thought I would share some pictures I took. Surprisingly I didn't take as many pictures as I thought I would but hey I still got some cool shots.

Well hello Pixlpeeps, long time no talk. I have a good reason why I've been away for a week, the past week I was in Hawaii. I spent a week with the family, and playing tourist. Of course the trip over was full of drama, because it wouldn't be a trip to the islands without drama, but more on that during Quick Hits. For my blog entry today I'll talk about the games I played when I had some down time. Because of my trip to the Caribbean I decided to leave the 3DS XL, and also the Vita at home. It kind of defeats the purpose of buying a handheld to not bring it on a trip but I knew I wasn't going to play with either of them. I had my two tablets that have a ton of games, as well as books, TV/Movies, and other items to keep me busy while on my flights. After this past trip I think I'm going with just bringing my iPad alone instead of having both the iPad and the Android Tablet. Nothing against the Android tablet especially since it plays NES games, but other than that I really didn't use it. 

Pixlpeeps what is up? It is a nice day here in Southern California and I decided to have a special Quick Hits on Thursday instead of Friday because I am going to be really busy. Sound like fun? Good. Before I get started I wanted to wish you good folk to have an awesome weekend! Let's get started.

It's amazing how hard it is to find a dry cleaners when you actually need one. I need to get my suit cleaned apparently I can't use my goto spot anymore and now I have to find one, and Australian Siri is no help (I should call her Cortana again). Good morning Pixlpeeps! So this morning I'm still on last week's time so instead of taking advantage of that extra hour of sleep I woke up at 4:57am instead of 5:57am. Blah! So over the weekend I mainly spent time playing on the tablets, specifically racing games. Oh the racing games where if you see someone in public playing one they are using their tablet as a steering wheel on a game that doesn't handle as well as a game using an actual steering wheel, but its neck and neck with the Wii and their Wiimote steering wheel plastic add-on. I mainly played three games and I'd like to talk about them from the worst, to the best. Let's get started!

You know what I am excited for? After I hand out the last piece of candy tonight I'm swapping out the majority of the music on my phone for the Christmas Playlist. Yeah I'm that guy. The one who wants to listen to Christmas Music in September but I try and wait until after Halloween. Sorry Thanksgiving, we're cool but there's not a lot of music about the joys of eating turkey. Good morning Pixlpeeps! As you can tell I am happy that Halloween is here because of what goes on my phone on November 1^st. How are you good people? Did you enjoy any games this past weekend?
