You know Pixlbit Monday isn’t starting out as I hoped. First I’m supposed to do something another person could have done on their own, didn’t, and now expects me to do it with a classic response of “it’s easy”. Yeah if it was easy YOU WOULD HAVE DONE IT ALREADY! Then I look down at my laptop’s charging cable and it’s frayed. Apparently part of it got dragged under my chair. Great. I went on Apple, and Best Buy and yep that’s $79 I have to spend on a replacement.

Greetings and welcome my Pixlbit peeps. I hope that the week was good to you and now you are all ready to celebrate the weekend! If you have anything really fun planned, have a safe weekend. My goal this weekend is simple, I need to find the power cable and the TV cables. I have that swanky Dreamcast controller and I want to spend a day virtual fishing. So Pixlbit it is Friday, my Aztecs are playing on Friday…AGAIN (I think this is the MWC’s way of saying hey you tried to leave so FU. A couple of days ago they sent out an announcement that 10, TEN calls were bad by the refs, including an obvious punt block that replay saw, the ESPN talking heads saw, but the zebras on the field didn’t.) So get this Pixlbit, early Saturday morning, for some odd reason I woke up at 5am. Why 5am? No idea but I was up and I couldn’t go back to sleep. I didn’t want to turn the TV on because I couldn’t find the remote and I refused to leave the bed so I started playing some stuff on the tablets. I decided to try and see if my Nexus was still able to do the time hack. If you don’t know what this is, the time hack is basically you roll the clock on your device two hours after you played a stamina based game to trick the game to thinking time past and your stamina bar is refilled. Apparently it works and I spent the next four hours swiping away and building up a couple of my characters so I could make a run at completing the game.

The weather is supposed to be getting cooler but apparently the local weather thinks high 90s-low 100s is cool. Anyways while walking around the local swapmeet this song came on

Well hello good people of the Pixlbit Galaxy! How was your weekend? Anything good happen? Did you take down that game from your backlog or find something cool? My weekend was filled with naps, football, the swapmeet, and I actually fired up a couple of my consoles. Sorry 360, I still haven’t played anything since August.

Hello Friday, I have missed you. Friday is such a good day because it’s the end of the work week, and it sounds like Fried which is always good when adding it to a word like Chicken, Pork, or placed in the middle of Deep (____) Food. I’m currently listening to my iPod while typing up this blog. I’m still on the fence about a game that I either might pick up just to play this weekend, or I will hit up some thrift stores later on today. Anyways it’s a cool 77 degrees but today

Happy Monday Pixlbit! This morning while finally deciding to read through the sports message board for SDSU Sports, just when I thought the yahoos who regularly post there couldn’t get any lower, they found a new floor. The “geniuses” that seem to live there want everyone fired, and all the players cut. Yes grown ass “men” take sports way too seriously because they know more about the game they pretend to love more than the folks who are pulling in a paycheck or scholarship. These are the same folks who a couple of years ago felt that the basketball team needed a new coach (2 Sweet 16s, beating the likes of Arizona, Kansas, and Gonzaga all on their home courts, and having a 30+ win streak within the state of California), and don’t even get me started on what they thought of about Tony Gwynn’s baseball team. Sometimes I do question the thinking of the vocal part of our fanbase.

Well Happy Friday good people of Pixlbit, I hope everyone is counting down the hours until the weekend hits and you get to do something fun like play video games…or sleep. Before I start this week’s Quick Hits, I have to ask, what do people get from waiting out in line for a new piece of tech? I see it with consoles, some games, and currently phones (for you folks reading this while waiting in line for the new iPhone, be safe, there are yahoo’s who try and cut for force their way into the line. And for reseller guy, GTFO!) I guess it’s worth it for you guys/gals who want it right away. I’m more of the lazy guy who strolls into a Walmart two or three months after launch, will buy the phone, and maybe a couple of $5 CDs from the bargain bin. Anyways congrats iPhone 6 owners, I’ll pick my iPhone 6s a couple of months after it’s released.

Good Monday morning World of Pixlbit, how was your weekend? I hope everything is going well for you good people, and there was lots of relaxation and some game playing. On my side of the internets there was some gaming but I would like to talk about a couple of new games (I know some of you are like “Hell Yeah no Simpsons Tapped Out”) that I’ve been playing, as well as a Demo. Sound like fun? Yeah it does.

Ok Pixlbit I am back for Part 2 of my Quick Hits Chris Is Back Form Hawai’i blog. Now last time I went over how I started my trip (Thanks United) and some of the things I did on the islands. Today I thought I’d mention some of the actual gaming that went on. I mean c’mon this is a gaming blog I should mention the handful of times I whipped out the Vita, 3DS XL, and the tablets right? I also have some other pickups I’d like to mention as well so let’s get started before I force myself to eat Oatmeal.
