thanks, Nick, you guys are great!
I'm pretty sure you can embed youtube videos on this site, and easier than on 1up. That would be easier for your readers than clicking on a link to go to an external site.
I've never played Legend of Dragoon, but I want to. I'm a really big fan of PSONE era JRPG's like Xenogears, Grandia, FF, etc. Never played this or Chronocross or Wild Arms yet though.
I dunno man, I don't have high hopes for this game. I love starwars, you know that, but certain things give me pause: that it will basically be on one planet, and Coruscant for that matter. Then there's the whole bountyhunter angle: this could be cool, but I think they might be trying to be too "edgy" like Force Unleashed pretended to be.
Still, I hope it's cool. Even if it was "Uncharted In Space" I guess that wouldn't be so bad, as long as the story is interesting and the gameplay is polished. But if it has a wise-cracking bountyhunter, his older buddy, and a sassy female character, I will be like "Whaaaat?" :)
I haven't played this game but I bought it for my brother as a gift to raise his spirits. I sent it to him -- he is in MAryland, I am in Arizona. I haven't heard back from him, but I hope he enjoyed it as much as you did. If he did I'm considering getting him the expansion for his birthday.
this was a pretty good article. she seemed to be pretty clear headed about the ending, and just took it for what it is. Damn, I remember that firestorm.
Console wars are stupid, I agree, but the simple fact is that not everybody can afford multiple consoles, so they have to choose, and thus: the war. I am enough of a geek that I make sacrifices in my life to own all consoles, but not everyone chooses or is capable of doing that. Brands do battle, like Coke and Pepsi, and that's just how our capitalist system works -- not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)
"welcome to the party, pal!" (shoots machinegun at police car)
welcome, man. the beer is out back.
I'll comment how I commented before:
"Are you sure?" Yes.
"Are you sure?" Yes.
"Are you sure?" Yes, dammit! (presses X)
