I didn't care for Re-Shelled. Turtles in Time on SNES is so much better. They totally nerfed it. Scott Pilgrim was a fantastic beat em up though! So many awesome little tributes to other games, and it was pretty dang close to the source material. I even went so far as to pay for the Knives dlc.
I'm looking forward to the Ouya. A rythym game with funk music sounds awesome! Why hasn't that been done before anyway? 
Never played Doom?!?!?!?!?! That's like my equivalent of your Mass Effect lol. 
Doom 3 is okay. It's a bit outdated, and there are better shooters out there... but the original Doom is my favorite fps ever! You certainly get a LOT of content with BFG Edition.
Thanks for the impressions Ben! I will probably pick this up at some point. A combination of Parasite Eve and Monster Hunter sounds intriguing. I don't mind some cringe worthy dialouge sometimes lol.
yeah that's true. I didn't put too much time into it to be honest. I'm sure there are some great team players out there, and I hope to give it another shot someday. Or maybe I should just go with the second one if it's that much better. Dual wielding rocket launchers and sniper rifles does sound pretty awesome! 
I couldn't really get into Borderlands, but mainly because I didn't have anybody to play it with, and random people online suck lol. Everybody was running off doing their own thing. There wasn't any cooperation at all. Isn't that the whole point of the game? I bet it's a lot better with friends and teamwork.
I love that main theme to FF V. One of these days I need to finish that game. I always get really far and lose interest in it for some reason. One of my favorites from FF V is this. So sad and haunting! 
This really doesn't have anything to do with your blog, but have you played Fez? It's about the same price as Game Dev Tycoon, and I was thinking about getting it soon. Why are you playing so many MMOs anyway?
Only one new game? Good job Philip! I caved the other day and bought Resistance 3 even though my backlog is insane. Progress is being made at least. That was the first game I bought in months. The first Mega Man is the only one of the classic series I don't really care for. Powered Up sounds awesome though!
That's crazy! Thankfully nobody got hurt. I never would have thought that crappy game would save some people's lives. If I ever fight her again I'll remember that.
I definitely know what you mean about performing flawlessly only to inevitably die at her. I've made it to her countless times and only beaten her twice. I'm not sure how I beat her really. Probably sheer luck lol. It's possible though.
