Yeah, I think I played it as a flash game, too. And the boats are called longships. There's a really awesome museum in Oslo, Norway where they have three on display. They were archaeological finds at burial sites, and many of the grave goods are also on display. It was my favorite museum to go to when we'd go into Oslo for a day when I was a kid and lived in Norway for three years.
I never had enough points to ever get anything good, so I gave what few codes I'd get to either my nephew Sawyer, or sometimes to a gamer friend that I knew had an account.
They may have heard my yell of elation all three miles into downtown.

Where are you in Lost Odyssey? The key to combat in that game is understanding and using the ring system to your best advantage. Also, magic is your best friend early on, and understanding which elements are weak to which other elements is important. Earth is strong against water, water is strong against fire, fire is strong against wind, and wind is strong against earth. And you'll want to upgrade equipment whenever you can. Spend a lot of time grinding during that first section - you'll want to be at least level 15 before you hit your first boss, and it shows up in the middle of nowhere shortly after the Mountain Hut. After that, the difficulty level gets less steep. Message me here if I can help more.
I've never been to a game, always watched on TV. I have been to Gillette Stadium, though, for four Women's World Cup games back in 2003. I think I'm probably pretty happy watching the game from home, though.
Xillia 2 is really good, but it really is a true sequel. Takes place a year later and most of the playable characters from the first one are playable in the second one.
I've got a five foot snowdrift blocking the path to my car, and I'm despairing of ever getting the path out to the compost pile shoveled.
