Well they aren't even supporting 360 games, so that's a huge library. If 360 games aren't supported for the next 2 gens, then it's like killing the 360?

I kind of feel like Microsoft is shedding away the "geeks and nerds" in favor of "jocks and gadget geeks." Thanks for giving us all your money for live and halo, but now we don't need you anymore. I don't even watch TV so yeah, I can't wait for June-July for all the new games on Steams Summer Sale!
Well the Neogaf comments were made to be humorous. It's pretty obvious that Microsoft is moving away from the gaming competition and focusing on the war for your living room. All-in-one Entertainment box type of thing.
Update: I killed the f*ing spider. Now on through the worm tunnels and on to the Flaming Skull Beast or whatever it is.
I'm really curious about the PS4 box design now. That and probably what the next gen of Japanese games will look like, or if they will even exist at all next gen. I want to see Versus XIII in some capacity, whether it be a video or screenshot or whatever. I want more Lightning Returns footage as well. I read rumors about Final Fantasy Type-0 being translated or having an HD port of some sort.
As for WiiU? I want a sequel to ZombiU and Mario Galaxy more than anything. News about a future Zelda or surprise about Metroid or Star Fox would be cool. New Smash Bros news is supposed to be incoming this Thurs. (speculation)
I really need to see what games are on XBOX and PS4 for that matter. None of that video nonesense, actual gameplay this time.
I have to admit that I'm mostly a solo player when it comes to games. The only multiplayer game I've really gotten into was Battlefield 3, and that was on PC. I occasionally dabble with an MMO here and there, but I mostly tank through those as well. With that said, XBOX360 has nice features, like Live that have no use for me and I feel that a lot of their strength is in multiplayer games (shooters) and live service.
I prefer the PS3 with it's quirky game selection and original IPs as well as the online store with classic PS games. It's just better tailored to my gaming tastes. Even still, I prefer classic games on virtual console and portable games on 3DS, DS etc.
So, what I saw today was a cable box with voice controls and hand motions. I'm not even trying to be a troll about this, and if PS4 pulled this shit, I would call it out. I saw a cable box powered by windows 8. For a next gen console, I wasn't very impressed by the visual in the trailers. I have to say that judging by video footage, PS4 seemed more impressive with their trailers. Let's not forget what happened with the Aliens game and early footage versus final release. So judging video is sort of stupid.
I'm probably not the demographic for XONE. I like FIFA and UFC and as for Call of Duty, I'll probably buy the PC version, because I'm more of a PC gamer, so that doesn't leave me with much to care about.
The thing I do like about the 360 the most is the arcade and indie games. I was a bit let down to see a lack of attention to this feature.
I just read about Freedom Wars, and looks great. I can't wait.
BF4 next gen Hell yeah!
If you're still excited for the XONE then that's great. Maybe E3 will sell me on it too. Oh, and what the hell happened to the avatars?
I can put my WiiU gampad charger on top I guess.
I swear, all games journalism is just press releases.
I love the way all the websites are advertising for the new system and if you go down to comments sections the community is asking all the relevent questions about connectivity and such. Fucking game journalism is shit.
What's up with the lack of Japanese games? It was a definite bro fest for sure. It's probably just easier to sell the box through "services" rather than make new games because they are too expensive to make. Pizza Hut anyone.
