I remember those Pokemon Ball things. I think it was a Burger King promotion for the first flick. I had a couple but I think I gave them away to younger cousins.
We don't have a Dollar Family here but I should check out the Dollar Stores just in case because I like those little Kre-O figures. I have a couple but since they are a buck I'd like to collect more of them.
There was a kind of football runner on Android. It was called Backbreaker and you started from one end of the field and had to score while dodging defenders. If you completed the run, you would move on to the next more difficult stage. It was really good and its a shame it never made it to iOS.
That's the thing with used sections, you won't always find what you're looking for, unless you have a huge record store (I miss Tower Records.) For some harder to find stuff I would try Amazon. I like searching through the used stuff at the local mom & pop because of trying something new and the occasional album you want to add to your library.
I skipped on Fallout Mobile. It looks like a Tiny Tower game and I'm not really into them. I never tried Nier, but I'm happy that fans of the game are getting a sequel.
There are a couple of really nice phone/tablet games. Hopefully the trend for mobile gaming is this instead of more in-app purchases.
That's right it didn't have the NFL. I'm hoping its good so mobile gaming can get more solid titles instead of microtransactions: the game.
I might be in the minority but I don't see backwards compatibility as a big deal especially with the PS4. I know in the store they sell digital versions of some of their games from the Playstation up to the PS3.
I didn't see the Nintendo presser, but I'm a little bummed in reading that Nintendo has jumped on the microtransactions. The charm with Nintendo was that they didn't follow what Sony and Microsoft are doing. They made solid first party games, and may have struck gold with the collectablilty of their Amiibo line. In my opinion microtransactions are a step closer to following Sony and Microsoft. Down the road I don't want to see various powerups in a Super Mario game to be an option for a buck, or have the same problem with a Metroid or Pokemon but now its only a matter of time.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! One of my favorites growing up. What always bugged me was the beginning scene when Steve Martin orders food on the train and he gets a beer and chocolate milk. I think 88 was the year we became a Nintendo House.
Yeah that's how the 360 was with original X-Box games. I actually think I've never used the backwards compatablility. I did a couple of times on the PS2 but not the 360.
I know what you mean, the spot where I get my music they have a bunch of Elton John stuff and I'm fighting off buying it just to be closer to having his discography. Its the funky 80s stuff but its part of his collection.
