Video Games of My Life: Part Three - 1980-1983

Posted on 02/10/2014 at 01:33 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I miss the sounds of the arcades. When I used to go to the mall, that was the only spot I wanted to visit.

I loved playing Gyruss and Spy Hunter. I actually started playing those games on the NES, but I would try my luck on the arcade versions. Dragon's Lair was always the "pricey" game at a $1 but it was the most popular machine at the local arcade

Finally broke into the PS3 Realm

Congrats on the new PS3! Like everyone is saying pickup PS+. The games selection for the "freebies" have been good, and the digital discounts are worth it. Also check out GameStop because a lot of really good PS3 games are cheap.

I forgot to mention I'm GoAztecs on PSN

Game Purchases of 2013 - Physical Games

Posted on 02/08/2014 at 01:51 PM | Filed Under Blogs

So you're the one hoarding all the Jedi Academy gamesTongue Out

Awesome pickups! Lots of cool games. I have yet to run into the original Crackdown, you probably already know but the Tony Hawk game needs the skateboard deck controller. I had a lot of fun playing the first one with the family, and I haven't tried the second one yet. If you have a Big Lots in your area check them out. The local one has the UDraw tablets for $10 but every gaming item is 30% off right now.

Props to you my friend for keeping the physical game count under 100. I think I hit that mark already for 2014, SMH.

The return of Folk Music Friday

Posted on 02/07/2014 at 10:46 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I left your blog for last on my reply list so I could listen to the music, and I enjoyed what I listened to. The one I was surprised with was the Scots Galic song. I usually like bagpipes, but I wasn't feeling this song. Matt Brown's song was REALLY good, easily my favorite out of the bunch.

Thanks for sharing Folk Music with us!

I'm going to follow KSAURADIO on Twitter

I don't know if it is on Netflix. If you do find it, check it out. I remember that guy, it was somewhat of a news story. Sad to see that it was made up to hype a film. I have a couple of Pearl Jam albums, and I like to think that I am a casual fan (Ten was a big album while I was in High School)
