Whoa.. I was completely unaware of the changes made in Nier!!
When it comes to my preference in JRPGs, I'm kind of indifferent in a sense I suppose. I love the old-school style of Lost Odyssey, but I also have a LOT of love for the newer styled RPGs such as Dark Souls or the Tales series. As long as the genre as a whole doesn't die off, I'm happy!
Oh my.. I didn't realize how many great games were coming out next month! Out of all of them though, I'm probably most interested in Castlevania: Lord of Shadows 2, Tales of Xillia, Duck Tales Remastered, and Pay Day 2.
I know there are a lot of great games from 2012 that I missed out on. Hopefully by the time I finish my current backlog, they'll be even cheaper!

I bought Deadly Premonition whenever it first came out since it was so cheap and I heard a lot of good things about it. However; much like you, I just can't get into it for some reason.

Looks like a great mod! I've been seeing some decent mods coming up in blogs, unfortunately however, my personal PC sucks at gaming so I'll have to sit it out. I'll definitely check it out on YouTube though at some point!

And for Gwyn's theme, I always took it as the somber feelings Gwyn had towards his life in general. Not only did he lose everything for the flame, he was killed by a person who finished off a majority of his family and ran amuck within his kingdom. But as it is Dark Souls, that was only my take on his theme. I love it regardless!

We'll just have to wait to see how the PS4/Vita integration works first. I think that if they can successfully intergrate the systems, the Vita has a decent chance.
