BaD XIII: And on the Xrd Day

Posted on 02/18/2015 at 12:52 PM | Filed Under Blogs

In all seriousness, the BMI is not at all taken seriously among any kinesiologist, nutritionist, or plain fit person I know. MAYBE if your only goal is to lose weight and you are a short fat person, yeah, pay attention to BMI, but if you train to gain muscle it's a really stupidly inaccurate way to discourage yourself.

I started dressing real nice as my clothes started running out. Got lots of compliments. Might just buy more Oxford shirts. Laughing

That's a thought. Thanks! I figured that's how it worked, but I wanted to make sure before stuff expired on me. lol

I don't know if it's the reason, I'd tend to blame myself for when I was fat. lol The Food Pyramid accepted by the U.S. for too long might be part of it, because without grain makers lobbying to shape that thing, no one would any nutritionist advise you to eat that many carbs every day.

I usually played with Ky-Kiske in X2 and want to learn a few others, but some, like Venom, just aren't worth the hassle to me even if I love Venom's design and the fact he has a pool cue. Chipp Zanuff is a good one though.

I remember having basically those same plastic cases for game Boy games.

Which part of California? Because the only way I'd live in L.A. in that small of a house for that big of a pricetag is if I was already a movie star or some other high paid profession.

It's kind of like that spider boss from Mega Man X2, but with Australian trains.

Cary's Top Five LEAST Favorite Kirby Games

Posted on 02/18/2015 at 11:24 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Hoping the best for your mom!

So let's see, your least favorite Kirby games are: the first entry where they didn't have everything quite "there" yet, a re-release of an old title on a handheld system, two re-skins of other games, and a DS game with a control system that did not click with you. Makes perfect sense to me that your least favorites are mostly the ones that aren't really new Kirby games when they release, and from one whose stylus controls were the issue.

If you need a gym alternative, what my consultant friend told me to do when I couldn't make it was to do lunges and push up as fast as I could at home and some bicycle crunches or planks at the end depending on the day.

There's also a lot of YouTube trainers who present some good stuff. Check out ZuzkaLight and DavidsFitness. This ZuzkaLight workout really does help you lose fat rapidly and she's not hard to look at:

Again, best wishes to your family and hope all goes well!

I like the look and music better than III, but what I've played is the same game with cutscenes and the option to ride motorcycles I have a hard time controlling.

I have it on Steam. but the controls are a bit awkward even with the software controller update, so I haven't gotten far and I don't like playing with a mouse and keyboard.

Nah, I just want to have one machine that plays everything, cause these machines are too damn expensive. Tongue Out
