Enjoy Bulletstorm! I was debating on picking it up a couple of weeks ago, but I decided to settle with the Uncharted series. I really liked Bulletstorm though, I definitely want to play through it again at some point and check out the multiplayer as well!
I've been meaning to check this out (Again, another post by you in which I been meaning to check out, lol), I just haven't gotten to it yet. Perhaps this will be one of the games I grab during the next-gen shake down!
My Wife was finally getting used to seeing Matt Smith as well. Oh well though, such is the life of the Doctor!
Hmm.. I honestly didn't know Tina. I knew of her, but she pretty much left whenever I had just joined 1Up at the time so I didn't really don't know much about her or anything. I didn't even know she was a community manager until you said so in your blog.
As for parenting and gaming; it has to be supervised at all times in my eyes. Even if my boy grows up a gamer and starts with something non-violent such as Tetris, he will be monitored. Nothing in the sorts of constantly watching over his shoulder or anything, but I’ll be watching more along the lines of time allocations and such.
It's a good plan. Hopefully we'll make some headway come E3 in regards to the consoles and their rumors. I'm just hoping for some good news. I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible, but in times like this, it's rather tough.
All of those are great games I need to add to my list!
My plan is to wait a year or two so any bugs can be worked out of the next-gen consoles, because let's face it, everything comes with bugs nowadays. Hopefully I'll be ready once the new versions of the next-gen are coming out! I just want to spend some time though and play all of the great PS3 games I've missed. I'm really excited to try out the Uncharted games as well as Resistence, InFamous, etc.
Scary as in horror? Or scary as in design/bugs?

That's the way to do it, definitely play Army of Two with a co-op partner. To me; Army of Two redefined the way I expect to play Co-Op shooters. The cover/aggro system is fantastic! Plus the weapon customizations are a giant plus as well!
I may also be skipping the next-gen, but I'm just trying to remain hopeful!
And I was debating on PC gaming, but I always hear about how much trouble people have at times trying to patch games and some games not compatible with certain graphic-cards.. I don't know if I want to endure the frustration or just play a game guarenteed (To a point, discluding bugs/patches) to work on a console without any hardware changes being needed.
