Could it be a hidden agenda?

You're right that we can't do anything about it. I try not to get worked up into a tizzy about this stuff. Easy when they cover it up well. But when it finds it's way to the front page it makes me wonder. Are we being conditioned? Like in the Wizard Of Oz when Dorothy and crew are told "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!". I think every now and then we catch a glimpse of him.

I've seen them 4 times. Once I saw them in Baltimore and I was hanging around in the Inner Harbor area all day before the show. Most of the band was running about down there as well. We met both Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris inside the big marketplace they have there. Both guys were very nice and were signing stuff right and left. Posing for pics with lots of fans. Very cool afternoon. They are so fantastic live. I hope i get a chance to see them on this run.

You're right about Orcas. They are badasses. Saw one in the wild off the coast of Oregon once, near Astoria. He came along our port side and being playful sort of. Almost like a dolphin would do. Perhaps he was just curious. Look forward to the crossover comics as I'm a fan of both Sonic and Mega Man. Now I'm off to mount a frikkin' laser to my pet shark's head. If I can get him to hold still long enough, that is.

Saw an interview with James Franco in which he talked about that movie. Sounds really good to me,as I think he is a fine actor. But he is high quite a bit...or maybe just happy? You will get hooked instantly on Bioshock Infinite. It is so good I cannot believe it or stop playing. Just played it an hour ago. Going to check out James Blake. I love electronic music of all sorts. But not dub step....oh no way. Makes me want to rip out my brain stem! Hope your final weeks of school go smoothly. It's the only part of high school I remember fondly.....the ending!

Orth pissed me off so bad I included a song dedicated to him in my blog today. Lemmy thinks he's a wanker, and so do I!  Love the artwork and game music. Sabrewulf theme is pretty epic sounding. The other one is highly pleasant and soothing. Almost makes me forget the arrogance of that tool from Microsoft.

Will the PS4 and Next-Box Start Better Than The WiiU?

I think Sony learned their lesson on pricing. I was one of the fools who shelled out $600 on launch day for PS3. I do feel I got my money's worth as it died only 4 months ago. But that was a real blunder to price it so high right outta the gate. I won't go out of my way to get a PS4 this Christmas. May be tough to find one. They will still be available in early 2014. No big rush on that. The backwards compatibility thing I have gotten over. Just adds to the weight and price of the console it seems.

This game tended to get overlooked. Never knew why. It's very British...not everyone's cup of tea(excuse the pun)for sure.  But the story is really good and the characters have great personality about them.

Sorry you're sick right now. That has to stink when you have interesting stuff happening at work. I rarely get that in my job. Except maybe today, that is. Saw a beautiful peacock at one of the nursing homes we go to. They just have it wandering about in their courtyard where residents go to get sun. My wife got me hooked on Bones. We often watch it together. Will be interesting to hear your rant on that. My son was fascinated by your info about wood frogs and spring peepers. I was, too. Especially the part about the frogs being able to freeze solid! That's like a form of suspended animation or being frozen in carbonite like Han Solo. The books on ravens sound cool, too. May have to look for those at the library on Saturday. Oh,and the honey badger is my hero. I want to be just like them. Honey badgers just don't give a crap! They really don't.

What I Love About The New Bioshock

Outstanding blog about a mind blowing game. I agree with you about the shield thing. It helps me without feeling like a crutch. I find myself gawking at the beauty of the world a lot in the game. I also watch to see what Elizabeth is doing. I like knowing where is she is during battles. I often wonder if I'm watching out for her,or she is doing that for me. She is definitely a valuable companion to have around. The vigors are incredibly cool to use. I like the weapons and the fact you can upgrade them. One of the best gaming experiences of the past couple of years for me.

Your last point made me think. Games do tend to get slammed for things films are praised for. Goes back to Roger Ebert and his dismissal of games as an art form. But some film directors get the same treatment. Look at Quentin Tarantino. Only now is he getting the recognition he deserves from film critics and the industry. Why is that? Because he has never played their game. He plays by his own set of rules. Hollywood hates that! And most of his earlier films were written off as crap due to the violent content. But the guy knows movies that people want to see. He is one of us.
