You may find that most of us are pretty level-headed. Yeah, with Ni no Kuni you see that a negative review on everyone's favorite game got a lot of heat but I think most of those were from faceless commenters who were just linked from the site from metacritic. I don't think we'll be seeing those guys anytime soon.

I only played the demo of King Kong, but I did enjoy that.
As far as favorite movie tie-ins I would have to go with Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. I'm not too sure about worst though since I usually avoid those games.

I was kind of similiar in that at first I would write about stuff that would appeal to more people, but as I got further along, I realized people would enjoy the stuff I wanted to write even more. Also, kudos for digging anohana!
Ah, Machinarium. That was a really cool game with an amazing artstyle. A lot of the puzzles were incredibly obtuse though so I basically had to rely on a walkthrough!
I made it to Hamlin in Ni no Kuni. It's the only game I've been playing but I feel there's still a lot left in the game.
I'll have to correct you: That's "second greatest RPG ever made." I agree with GrayHaired though, it has really good music. And to my surprise it was headed by an American composer. How many times that happen in a JRPG!?
