Game of the Year: Bit.Trip Series
All three games released in the Bit.Trip series this year were fantastic. Even though it's a series, each game has a different theme and plays differently, which makes each entry feel fresh.
Runner-Up: LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias
Despite being a rather short adventure, it's one of the best titles available on WiiWare to date. The new mechanics are well implemented and like its predecessor, it makes excellent use of Wii's motion controls.
