Welcome to week 2 of BaD and well I’m supposed to start this week’s theme but I’ll start it tomorrow because well Monday is my usual update day and I know you good people are dying to know what random mobile game I played. Actually this past weekend I was out and about again because it was Wedding Part 2, this time it was my cousin on the shores of very swanky La Jolla (it’s pronounced “La Hoy-a”, but I like to say “La Joe-la”). It was a short trip but it was fun because I got to spend some time with other cousins who I haven’t seen as much, and once again spend crazy money on overpriced hotel food.

So here we are, day 2 of BaD and after thinking about what I am going to do, I think I am ready for the rest of this fun time we’re going to have. I might be late on some days but other than that I think it’ll be fun and I can’t wait to read what everyone else is doing. Since today is Friday I am going to celebrate Quick Hits, oh apparently Phil saw his shadow so more winter. Of course here in my little piece of Southern California, the weather has been more Spring than Winter, and the local “zoo” (it’s more of a wild animal park) has a tortoise who says Spring will be here early. Which random animal to believe? I do find it funny that the folks that do the weather on TV love this stuff when it seems like we’re making fun their profession because we’re having animals predict the weather. Anyways let’s get started!

Apparently it is February which means BaD and guess who completely forgot and is now going to try and plan out what they want to do for the month…this guy. Yeah originally I was thinking about theme weeks because well it’s something new every week. Last year I believe I went with the songs on my Desert Island Playlist which was a lot of fun and this year I figure let’s mix it up so consider the next two day of week 1, Chris Is Trying To Figure It Out Week. Sound fun? Excellent!

So I’ve been checked out for about a week but I had a good reason: my baby brother got married! The last week has been a little hectic with all the running around, collecting my thoughts for the Best Man speech, and the traveling. Since I am in sunny Southern California, I took a trip up to the Bay Area for the festivities and well I had some things planned. I bought Jade Empire for the iPad because I was going to play this game non-stop in the airport, on the plane, and anytime I had a free moment, I brought my everyday laptop over my travel laptop because I wanted to play music and sneak in a little gaming during down moments in the hotel room. Things didn’t go exactly as planned but I still had a ton of fun.

So here we are, Friday, and I am ready to do well I don’t know what I am going to do today. I mean I could go out because it is CD Friday and I like to look for new music but at the same time I should be continuing my organizing of my digital files because that was one of my goals this year. In any case Happy Friday Pixlpeeps and let’s get started with Quick Hits.

Well Happy Tuesday Pixlpeeps! Yesterday the plan was to sleep in on MLK Day but in my excitement I forgot to turn off my alarm and I woke up at my normal time. Oh well. So instead of blogging on my normal day here I am and guess what? I played some games throughout the week including one I found in my library that most likely I got through a bundle. Let’s recap all this goodness!

So get this, yesterday I thought I was going to be super busy today so I started writing a Quick Hits entry and sure enough I got caught up in some other things and here we are. I have an unfinished entry and I figured I would just cannibalize that entry for this entry because as it turns out I do have some time to get you good people updated. So let’s get started with another Quick Hits

So on Sunday I was roaming around Toys R Us before I had to do some grocery shopping and I found the Talos Principal Deluxe Edition, or whatever they call the one with extra stuff for $6 on the PS4. I thought about it, had it in my hand, and I was walking around the Nintendo section still holding this game but in the end I put it down. Why? Well I still have a ton of games I haven’t played and a handful I started but haven’t finished yet so why add to the mix? I put it down, and whoever picks it up, I hope you enjoy the game! This has been the mindset this year (and the final weeks of 2017) so I would just tackle whatever is in my Steam library, see if its worth playing, and decide if it should be installed (also the $6 I was going to use, I added it to my 52 Week Challenge). Also I played some games I’ve already been playing.

Well Happy 2018 Pixl Peeps! I was going to do a blog on Monday but I really didn’t play a lot of games to complain/love/talk about but I am here for the Quick Hits because I have some things to share, say, and other random items that will pop in my head that I’m trying to write down on digital paper.

Well hello Pixlpeeps! We are close to the end of 2017 and the start of 2018 and what better way to ring in the new year than to talk about all the cool things I want to accomplish in 2018. For 2017 I’d like to think I did well. I listened to every song in my iTunes library (I’ve since added a ton), I’ve hit my Goodreads goal, and I like to think I cut down on game spending but what do I have in store for 2018? Let’s find out.
