So sometime last Fall I discovered Mii Plaza and Street Pass on my 3DS XL. I've gotten more and more obsessed with it. Now I carry my 3DS XL around with me all the time. I greet Miis every night, and then run them through the various Mii Plaza games. I would usually get three or four Miis a day and use my coins gathered from steps taken to fill out the crew to the max of ten. Last week though, I decided to save up all the Miis until I hit 10, and then play the games. Last week I got nine after a whole week. I'm hoping for ten this week, but we'll see. 

Diablo 3 today. Again. Can you believe it?

I was a true patriot of Diablo III by playing all afternoon on Sunday. Then, I had to work during the first three quarters of Super Bowl, racing back to my friend's place to see the fourth and get right back to D3. You could call me a Diablatriot.

Willkommen flatlanders! Some days of the week I wear a collared shirt, but it annoys me to tuck it in. So I don’t, but I imagine people are thinking I am a slob. So I thought I’d compromise and go Nathan Drake on it and do the half-tuck. But, I’m not sure how that works. So let’s take look at that.

Concerning Dragon Magazine 81, January 1984, the year Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel) was given the Pulitzer Prize. He also published The Butter Battle Book, a tale metaphorical of The Cold War arms race. In ’89, a TV special was made of it directed by famous animator Ralph Bakshi! There were a couple of Dr. Seuss video games made based on the movies. There was The Grinch on PS1, which also got ported to DS. It looks pretty average but at least they give you a jet pack. Then, there was Cat in the Hat for PS2/Xbox that looks a little bit better. Here’s a commercial for it:

Anybody know that Manowar song Kill with Power? It's a silly song from a silly rock group, but that's what I was singing while playing Diablo III today. It was appropriate though, as Mark and I trounced enemy after enemy with explosions of swordplay and magic.

Played Diablo III today. I played solo the whole time because Mark is over level 60 now and plowing through Inferno Mode. I'll never catch up now! GOSH!

More riffing on Dragon Magazine 81, January 1984. The rock group, The Police, played their last tour in 1984. The only video game connection I can think of is that drummer, Stewart Copeland, over a decade later, did the music for Spyro the Dragon and its three sequels. Played Diablo III all day today co-op with my friend Mark. Details below.

I just passed 50k gamer score on Xbox live. Technically, I have about 3k more than this, but that 3k was on my old gamertag. Still, 50k is a nice number that makes me want to reminisce about my favorite achievements going back all the way to 2007.
