I was extremely busy yesterday.  I worked some extra hours in the morning and was planning to relax the rest of the day only to find all that relaxing free time taken up by other things.  I ended up visiting my wife's grandmother in a nursing home, went to the in-laws and played some table games and watched Les Miserables.  The movie was amazing.

I think that I am craving an RPG.  The only problem is that I am not quite sure which one to dive into.  The reason that I think that I am getting this craving is because I am doing my best not to download Bravely Default right now.  There are other signs, like downloading FF IX just because Snee was talking about it.  I even picked up Rune Factory 4 on a whim.  I used to buy games on a whim constantly, but I have been doing better recently.  In fact, the only unplanned purchases have been the amazing PSN sales.

I have been working a fair amount of overtime at the moment, which means that my brain function is shot by this point in the day.  I would still like to pump out a blog a day, so I am being a little lazy today especially since I just heard that Call of Duty is shifting to a three year development cycle.

It turns out that I have the greatest godson in the world.  I gave him an outdated peice of technology for Christmas and he was ecstatic, he was also speechless.  What did I get him you ask, a DS.

The games that I am most looking forward to experiencing with Sony's PSNow service are the PS2 games.  I missed out on a lot of these games because I was finishing up gradeschool when the PS2 came out and did not have a nice source of income until the PS3 had been released.  

My PS3 died in early 2012.  I nearly replaced it right away, but I let my family convince me to register for one because I was getting married later that year.  When time came for us to register for our wedding I had decided that it wouldn't be the end of the world if I no longer had a PS3.  This was a big mistake, because outside of Halo Microsoft has very little to offer me in terms of exclusives.  I have missed out on a handful of big releases since my PS3 died and I have missed replaying some of my favourites.  I just wanted to go down a list of games that I am hoping to experience for the first time, or replay once PSNow is officially released.  Today I want to specifically talk about PS3 releases.

I just wanted to quick recount what I did in January as far as gaming is concerned.  In the end this will just be for my own benefit when I look back on 2014 as a whole.  That way I don't have to scour my memories only to forget some of the games that I played throughout 2014.

This is going to a quick and dirty list of games that I would love to see and play on my 3DS.   Shall we begin?
