I haven't been paying much attention to what's coming out this year, to be honest. i know that I want South Park and Tales of Symphonia, but that's all I've really noticed.

PSN+ is great if you keep it, but if you don't, then the "free" games are no longer yours. I hae friends who love it and wouldn't be without, but it really didn't impress me all that much. I say try it for a couple of months and decide for yourself.
Don't get me started on broken TVs...
Dammit, I'm REALLY wishing I'd bought a 2DS instead of a new laptop! Then I coul be playing this Bravely Default game, too.
Gamer ADD, I am extremely familiar with that affliction.
Can't help you with your TV issues, but I may hve an inkling about your over-heard conversation:
Yay for fewer games than last year?
1982 was when I discovered the joys of dungeon crawling in Wizardry. That was also the year that the local Action Family Arcade gave out 20 tokens to each kid who made honor roll. I think blew most of them on Qbert and Moon Patrol. As for the home consoles, no joy there, the first chance I ever really got to spend with an Atari wasn't until college. Some guy in my dorm donated his Atari and all the games to the dorm. I spent many happy hours playing Demon Attack (and cutting math and sociology to do so) until some drunken asshole who didn't even live there destroyed our lounge and everything in it - TV, Atari, pool table, couches, and cable box.
Love your eclectic taste, Sidd.
Not really my kind of music, but I did listen to a little bit.
Working in the cold is definitely a different experience. My dad worked bridge construction and was usually one of the guys who never got laid off in the winter because he was so good at what he did. When he'd get home, he'd crank the heat up. On Sundays, my brother and I would go over and have Sunday dinner with him, and my brother never understood why he kept the heat at 75, but I did. When you're cold most of your waking hours, it's nice to be toasty for the few you don't have to be.
BaD isn't about quality, it's just about posting something every week day. When we'd get stuck in preious years, we'd resort to cute cat pics, and it's become a running joke. That's why homelessrook is posting cat pics every day.
