G.I. Joe

Posted on 01/20/2015 at 07:26 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I never was into G.I Joe as a kid, so I never played the games either.  I do remember the cartoon, but mostly the lessons at the end because I'd only watch it waiting for the next show to come on (usually Transformers).  "Now you know, and knowing is half the battle."  What's the other half of the battle?

I was more into Transformers myself.  We never got a good Transformers game on the NES (I hear the one in Japan was awful).  But luckily, many many years later, we got a good Transformers game in the form of Fall of Cybertron.

Mega Man will be in Wave 3!  They announced a Pac-Man Amiibo recently, too.  Yay! I have that exact Mega Man plush from your link!  It hangs above my bed next to Kirby!

I bet they have a DQ calendar in Japan, seeing how popular it is over there.

Have you ever heard of the Final Fantasy Theatrhythm music games on the 3DS?  They're making one for Dragon Quest, too!

No rush on the reviews, I know your internet access is limited!

I had to work today unfortunately.  I've been a little under the weather lately so it was extra hard.  But at least i have a job!  Good luck on your 5K thing!

There actually really is a Halo 2015 calendar.  I looked it up on Amazon because I figured it was popular enough to get a calendar.

The Art Academy games really do teach you drawing techniques.  It's a little different feel on the touch screen, but it's still good.

This edition of KH2 has HD graphics and also includes Birth By Sleep.  That was a pretty good PSP game so if you missed out on it, here's a great way to play it.

Yeah I know what you mean about people who can eat as much as they can and still not gain weight.  I'm kind of like that to an extent.  That Yoga lady is definitey strong.  Maybe she just eats Yoga Sandwiches, whatever those are.  Her name is Tara Stiles, by the way.  Thanks for reading!

And to answer your question, G.P. the GamerPuppet's shirt says Football.  You know where I get his clothes?  I get baby clothes from the thrift store!  He wears about a 12 month size. :)

My Top Ten Achievements

I remembe when I reached 50,000 Achievement Points!  I managed to get all the achievements in a few games like Pac-Man CE and Pac-Man: CE DX, Banjo-Tooie, Sam & Max, Dig Dug, and a Doritos free game that had dinosaurs in it.  I did get a lot of achievements in games like Soul Calibur 4 and 5, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Portal 2.

Retro Game of the Week: Nightmare Busters

I never heard of this game.  Believe it or not, I didn't play as many 2-D platformers on the SNES because most were just really bad and frustratingly hard Sonic clones, and I was way too busy playing the great RPGs from Square anyway.  I did rent quite a few SNES platformers, though.

Well good to hear from you again.  Hope things get better.  If you lived down here in Texas, I'd invite you all over to play all my new games and things!
