PS+ does have it's advantages with back-ups and auto-saves!
From what I've been reading, it seems to be effecting the slightly older consoles as well the consoles that have had the HDD's swapped (Just a trend I've noticed, nothing confirmed).

Totally jealous that you got the Last of Us.. I've been wanting it pretty badly, but I haven't been able to get it as of yet.
And Dragon Quest IX is amazing! You made a good choice with that one 
Hopefully you didn't have your Auto-Update on. If not then no biggy, the patch has been pulled for the time being until the problem is resolved!
Unfortunately, no word on what will happen to those affected by the patch. It's an easy fix though if you don't mind formatting your HDD and losing everything 
I honestly can't wait to get my hands on The Last of Us. It looks absolutely incredible and from what I've been seeing, it's getting perfect scores and reviews all over (Granted, I normally ask my fellow gamers their opinions before I take a review seriously, but so far both views are similar).
It's tough though in a sense. I'm saving up my spare money for a house-project, so it's been really difficult trying not to watch any gameplay videos because I don't want to spoil my adventure!
I loved the first two, and as of now this is probably the game I'm looking forward to playing the most!

I just bought the entire Uncharted Sage.
I'm waiting until I hit my 100,000th Achievement point on 360 though before I start them. So far I only need 980 more points 
All of these have great potential, especially since they all have such a rich history of story-telling! I'd love to see a Metroid movie though. Ridley in live-action? Fuck yea!
