I love LOOT!!!! Plain and simple. Borderlands 1 and 2. They have lots of guns to get and lots of loot. Diablo 2. The granddaddy of Loot. The Elder Scrolls Series has a lot of loot. Other than that, I honestly haven't played that many games with tons of loot. Which is sad because I have made this a sub-genre in my world of gaming. Does it deserve it???
Fighting games can be a diverse genre of video games. However, that diversity can often be over shadowed by the same handful of franchises and companies that have much larger presences. Although the tides are turning and new fighting game IP s are now more that ever making their presence known though the indie scene. Today, we're taking a look at a few of the many indie fighting games that are emerging this year. Some games are playable right now while other games plan to use crowd funding later this year. These games, however, provide a healthy alternative and bring (or in some cases could bring) new life into the fighting game genre.
After the Super Nintendo, the Nintendo 64 was released on September 29th, 1996. I remember the date well, because it was my birthday. It seemed like it was meant to be, because I convinced my mom to get it for my birthday. Things were going well at that time. We were living in Detroit, she had found steady work and a new man, and we were stable for the first time in awhile. I had such a great time with Super Mario 64, and I knew that I would enjoy many new gifts from the gaming gods.
I had a wonderful opportunity to put a little bit of time into Rune Factory 4. I am enjoying myself at the moment, but feel as though I am still in the tutorial part of the game. Once I finally get released into the world to do as I please I am sure that it will become a game that is difficult to put down. I will definitely have some more thoughts as I progress further into the game. I will leave this topic with one thought... I am barely two hours into the game and a dragon has hit on my character. I think that means this will be a special experience.
