As a 1up survivor, I too was looking for a new place to call home while frantically trying to save my blogs. I'm just glad I was able to call this place my new internet home. Alot of the people I knew from 1up move here so I was glad I was able to see some familiar faces, but I met some new ones as well. I'll write something about this hopefully today so I'll keep this short. But congrats Pixlbit and congrats everyone!
Celebrating Five Years of PixlBit

Matt R Celebrates Five Years of PixlBit
PixlBit is an oasis in a wasteland of lunatics. It's always been a safe place to talk about games, culture, and life because of the intelligent, fair-minded people that have arrived here over the last half-decade. Nobody here has the stomach for clickbait articles, endless top-ten lists, petty blogfights, or nerd-drama, we just wanna have fun. Where else on the internet can you find something like that?
Something that special lasting 5 years is a testament to the work and dedication of the staff and site directors. They all take time away from their lives of family and school to create something worthwhile. They're always working on some new articles or website features behind the scenes. They do it because they love it, not to fill up a giant swimming pool of money or for temporary viral fame. If you like video games, stick around another 5 years and watch PixlBit improve the gamer culture underground, one pixel at a time.
