As a 1up survivor, I too was looking for a new place to call home while frantically trying to save my blogs. I'm just glad I was able to call this place my new internet home. Alot of the people I knew from 1up move here so I was glad I was able to see some familiar faces, but I met some new ones as well. I'll write something about this hopefully today so I'll keep this short. But congrats Pixlbit and congrats everyone!

The staff of PixlBit commemorates five years of the site.
Casey Curran Celebrates Five Years of PixlBit
For me, PixlBit’s best part is our community. The people here act how everyone on the internet should behave rather than what we are usually are exposed to. There are all kinds of people on here with so many different tastes, yet we all manage to get along and enjoy our differences rather than use them to start arguments. It’s a place where Blake isn’t tarred and feathered every time he writes a blog.
This applies to the staff members here as well. The staff here is always respectful of each other and our community, despite the diverse tastes. While I can only speak for myself, I love hearing from every single part of the PixlBit staff. Just call me a retro reviewer since I will take the fun PixlBits over the usual Polygons we get any day.
